We hope this won't be the last video because of the sad events that are currently taking place in Lebanon...

Tonight the second Super Star finalist will be leaving the show.
Who will be standing in the danger zone this time?
Will Aidarous and Umaima take the same steps into the danger zone tonight as well?
We'll know soon enough, only after a few sweat inducing twists from Wael Mansour and Majdala!

The first finalist called to the danger zone is indeed Umaima from Tunisia.
As for Aidarous, this week he's safe!
Elie from Lebanon is also safe and so is Abdel Majeed from Saudi Arabia.
Murad from Palestine is also safe.

The second prime of Future Super Star 5 was very interesting and the guest was Moroccan singer Layla Ghofran, who became famous for singing the popular songs of Abdel Halim Hafeth. Layla performed a couple of her songs during the show.
The show kicked off with a joined performance from all the 11 finalists.
The first to perform was Murad from Palestine, he sang 'Kif Btawel Bali' by a former Super Star finalist, Melhem Zein. He did very good got 4 green lights from the judges.
The second to perform was Umaima from Tunisia, she sang 'Samehtak' by Asalah. She got 3 green lights and 1 red one!
The third to perform was Anoushka from Egypt, she sang 'Ashka we Ghalbana' by Sabah. She got 4 green ones!

Tonight are the results of Future Super Star 5.
Tonight the first finalist will leave the show.
As for the contestants who are so unlucky that they'll have to stand in the danger zone, They are the ones who get the least votes, they are ... well we don't get to know who's in the danger zone before a bit of nerve-wrecking twists!

The first two contestants to be reassured that they're totally safe are Murad from Palestine and Dunia from Morocco.

After all the wait, the final phase of the talent show Future Super Star 5 has begun.
12 contestants from around the Arab world are competing for an important title ‘Arab Super Star 2008’.
This year, the stage is much bigger, which mean more live audience is present.
The hosts are Super Star graduate Wael Mansour and a cute Lebanese girl by the name of Majdala.
As for the judges, you already know who they are! Ziad Butrous, Elias Rahbani, Abdallah al Goud and Jehan al Nasser from Egypt.
This time, there’s a new way for the judges to give their opinion of the contestants’ performances; after each performance, the judges press either a green or pink button; green for ok and pink for not so ok.

So, to kick off the 1st prime the contestants sang a medley together saluting their countries.
The 12 contestants are from Lebanon, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Palestine and Iraq.

Only five girls made it to the finals of the super talent show Future Super Star in it’s 5th season this year.
Those girls are talented and have what it takes to make it big in the music business.
Those girls are from Morocco, Egypt, Tunisia and Lebanon.

From Morocco, comes 2 girls, Asma Al Jabiry and Dunia Lutfi.
Asma is 18 years old and loves poetry. She also likes to paint and dance Flaminco!
Her favorite singers are Um Kulthoum, Abdel Halim, Assala and Wael Kfouri.
Her role model is her mom. As for her horoscope, she’s a Leo! Just like me!

Dunia is 26 years old and loves the theater and the kitchen!
Her favorite singers are Souad Mohammad, Assala and Hussein Al Jasmi.
Her role model is also her mom. As for her horoscope, she’s an Aquarius.

The journey is nearly at the end for the judges and the presenters of Future Super Star 5 but for the 6 new semi finalists from Amman the journey is just about to begin. The 2 girls and 4 boys were discovered in Amman, Jordan when AbdAllah Al Qaoud, Zeyad Al Rahbani and Jehan El Nasser (Mr Elias did not attend due to his health) picked them out of 450 hopefuls who attended the audition session. Never before have there been so many instrumentalists who played instruments varying from ouds to keyboards.

Elias Al Rahbani, AbdAllah Al Qaoud, Zeyad Al Rahbani and Jehan El Nasser were joined by Majdala and Wael Mansour arrived in Tunisia to continue the search for the next Super Star! There were 800 candidates all of whom came equipped with their selected songs and sometime instruments in the hope of becoming the next big thing. The contestants created a family like atmosphere, singing together and making inquiries to the Future Super Star team.
