Well not in real life but Ghada does play a TV presenter who presents a program called ‘Sirri Gedan’ (Top Secret) and gets a death threat after a controversial episode. That’s not the only project Ghada is part of, she is part of ‘Masraweya’ a new series that is to air on several Arab channels in Ramadan and is expected to be a great hit.

Many of you will recall Egyptian star Ahmed El Saqqa’s eye injury which he suffered whilst filming an intense action scene in his upcoming movie ‘Al Jazeera’ (The Island). Doctors have allowed Ahmed to get back to filming his movie after a large and costly delay and after his eye improved sufficiently. The cast and crew of ‘Al Jazeera’ are currently at Kimo Land, where they are filming a few scenes after which they will return to Luxor to finish the movie.

Egyptian actress May Ez Eldeen is enraged due to the use of her name in posters and trailers for the movie ‘Agamesta’. May says she was a mere guest of honor in the film and she only agreed to do this extremely small part in respect for Shereef Ramzy and his father the producer. May was surprised to see her name and picture on posters as if she was playing a leading role which is not the case. What made May even more angry was that her name was placed after Khaled Abu El Naga as if she was still a rising actress not one that has done movies where she played the only leading role.

Recently we heard some outrageous news about Moahammed Saad (aka El Lemby) and how he wanted to raise his fee for the new movie ‘Karkar’ to 10 million E.P simply because that was the fee Adel Emam got for his movie! But now we are hearing something even stranger about this unlucky movie, apparently a lawyer who goes by the name of Waheed Nezai raised an urgent appeal to the Egyptian courts to revoke Mohammed Saad’s movie from all theatres in the country and sue Mohammed Saad and the director Ali Rajab!

Egyptian singing sensation Shereen Abdel Wahab has agreed to shave off her hair TOO for her role in the new movie ‘Teefa and Touma’ which is to also include Mohammed Fouad. Shereen has said that she will shave her head as soon as her contracts for summer concerts end so the movie can be filmed at the beginning of winter.

Yeah! It is shocking to hear that an Egyptian actress will look like Britney Spears in terms of hair! Yes, she will actually shave her hair off just like Britney Spears. Dalia El Beheiry announced that she will totally shave her hair because that new character in the TV series “Sarkhat Ontha” she will be performing in demands so.

It was a surprise for everyone to see Fifi Abdo showing up in the Four Seasons Hotel wearing the veil. People, at first, thought that her veil is a final decision until they knew that it is just a part of the show that was prepared by the producers in addition to some of the décor and people wearing the custom of the characters in the new TV series “Azhar”. It was the celebration of the finishing of shouting of the new TV series that will be presented in Ramadan.

Hanan Turk has assured fans that news of her getting a divorce from her new husband business man Khalid El Khatab after a mere month of marriage is in fact true. The relationship has been shaky for a while because Hanan chose to wear the hijab, however, it seems the final straw was when Khalid refused to get rid of his dog which Hanan found playing with her prayer mat. Hanan went to the muftee in Egypt and was told that it is in fact against the rulings of Islam to have a dog in the house as this will mean she is unable to pray wherever the dog has been and she attempted to use this to convince her husband to get rid of his dog.

Famous Egyptian actress Nawal Abul-Fotouh died yesterday at the age of 65.
The irony of death is that she died on her birthday!
She had plans to go back to the tv screen, but she was only able to shoot 2 episodes of the series she was cast in.
She has been struggling with cancer for about 5 years now, but has lost her battle. Her only son, Ahmad, was by her side through-out her treatment & as she slipped into a coma.
God rest her soul.

Egyptian actor Ahmad Al Saqqa has been hard at work filming his latest action movie 'Taymour & Shafiqa' in Ukraine.
But there have been a few rumors about his health condition that need to be corrected.
Rumor had it that Al Saqqa was injured during filming one of the scenes for the movie, when his clothes caught fire in an explosion scene.
The truth is, his clothes did catch on fire, but he was quick at taking them off & getting away without any injuries.

Last Thursday in Grand Hyatt Hotel-Cairo, Adel Imam celebrated the start of shooting his new comedy film called 'Morgan Ahmed Morgan' in which the Egyptian actress Mervat Amin will be co-starring with him.

Anyway, the company responsible for the production of the new Egyptian television series (Al DonJuan) - referring to Roshdy and his life - have been facing some problems with his daughter Kesmat Abaza who insists on letting her son Mohammed to personalize Roshdy's teenage years in the series otherwise she wouldn't accept the production as a whole assuring that Roshdy's grandson is capable of that in addition to his similarity in looks to his grandfather, She also stated that Mohammed would be one of the future stars and would bring back the glory days of her father.
