Famous Egyptian star Ahmad Elsaka surprised his fans when he made a personal appearance to (Dar Al opera) the opera house to watch the launching of his new action thriller Ibrahim Ilabyad. It is said that producer Imad Eldin Adeeb rented the Opera House for 120’000 Egyptian pounds. And it can occupy nearly 1200 people.

It seems that her ex-husband –and the father of her two children- went to an Egyptian judge complaining that he hadn’t seen his children and that instead their mothers ‘boyfriend’ was seeing them! This forced the marriage out into the open as Hana’s lawyer was aware of the danger the boyfriend allegation had on the case.

Obviously not many of us will get the luxury of working on a movie, but when you are in a position of power and someone tries to undermine your authority you can imagine how angry you would be. Well that is how director Khalid Yusuf felt when the still up and coming actor Amr Saad redirected Haifa Wehbe in one of the scenes on her movie debut ‘Dukan Shehata’

There are all kinds of speculations about whether or not Mona Zaki will be giving up on her acting career. Her dad recently passed away and so for a while she was mourning and her last major project was ‘Taymour W Shafeeka’! Some even said that she was so disturbed and distraught that she was seeing a therapist. The last straw came with her new series which she was completely in charge of called ‘Ahla Kalam’. The show is all about how religion and the world of cinema interact and how sometimes actors need God more than anyone.

You may remember a problem back in 2001 that involved actor Saeed Saleh and journalist Abdul Fatah Yunis. Well if you don’t, basically Saeed was driving recklessly and speeding on the roads when he crashed into Abdul Fatah Yunis’ care and as a result completely wrecked it from the front and the sides. Now the court ordered Saeed Saleh to pay for reparations to the car but he refused and now authorities have seized all his furniture.

Unfortunately for many of us Ahmed El Saka was absent from the summer movies of this year, however, he will be in the middle of it all next year and better than ever. Obviously wanting to take advantage of the dynamics created between himself and Razan in ‘Harb Italia’, Razan will be playing a leading role alongside Ahmed in his upcoming movie ‘Ibrahim El Abyad’!

What better could you ask for to accompany your dates and dishes at Iftar than the beautiful and talented Mona Zaki and Ahmed El Saka?! Well you can have your wish as –after being away from the Ramadan scene for quite a while- Mona Zaki makes her return in the form of a radio show called ‘El Hareb’. This action radio play has gained a lot of popularity over this month, and how could it not with the Mona and Ahmed as the stars?

When Hanan Turk decided to wear the hijab, we all thought her life was over, professionally and personally. However, a recent interview with Lamees El Hadeedy on the show ‘El Ekhteyar El Saab’ seemed to indicate otherwise. For starters Hanan wants to learn Persian so she can start acting in Iranian movies and claims that she is awaiting the right movie that she feels will benefit society so she can make a comeback to the cinematic world.

Undoubtedly everyone heard about the rumour that Hanan’s husband left her because of a dog that he was raising and finally Hanan has put an end to it. Apparently the reason behind her divorce was that her husband wasn’t happy not with the hijab but with the actions that followed the choice to wear it. But Hanan made sure to clarify that if they come to an agreement there is still a chance they could get back together!
