Bravo Ahmad Al Sharif

I only have one word for Tunisian singer Ahmad Al Sharif ... Bravo!
I saw his new video clip for his new song "Bady Atir" (I want to fly) today and it really impressed me!
The song is nice, worth listening to and really perfect for Ahmad.
The video clip, which is directed by Emile Slailati, is really cute. It's fresh, fun and totally cool!

I think it's shot in Lebanon, but where is that place? I want to go there!
Ahmad Al Sharif's new album seems to be really hot! What do you think?

Najla, A New Insult or Not!?

Remember Tunisian singer Nagla, the singer that first started with an almost erotic video clip for her song ‘Ana Hatlob Idak’?

Ahmed El Sherif Going to Court

It seems Star Academy star Ahmed El Sherif’s legal position deteriorated when he didn’t show up at the investigation office as he was ordered to by authorities. This order comes after Ahmed’s manager Mansour Jamal sued him for breaching the contract that they both signed. The contract binds Ahmed to do several concerts in several tunisian cities organized by his manager in 2006 which includes one in Sfax, another in Mounastir and the last in Maqneen.

A Successful Tour for Ahmad Al-Sharif

Ahmad Al-Sharif

Ahmad Al-Sharif's schedule has been extremely busy these days & that's such good news!
Seeing a young star having huge success all over the Arab world is something to be proud of ... Especially after the failures of other 'so-called-stars' like Mohammad Attieh and Sofia Al-Marikh that graduated with Al-Sharif from Star Academy.
In the past month, Al-Sharif held concerts in Syria, Tunisia & Libya ... & will be holding more concerts during March in Jordan & Syria.

Latifa: The New Envy of Rotana Divas?

Latifa

Stories of envy and jealousy between Rotana divas over the success and special treatment of double World Music Award winner, Elissa, have been entertaining the press throughout 2006. It is evident in every interview conducted with any female Rotana artist, the stock question is always “Are you jealous of Elissa’s massive success?” or “Are you envious of Elissa over her double World Music Award win?” and then of course comes the stock answer: “I am so happy for her, she deserves it, I don’t think she bought it!” Amal Hijazi sugarcoated her answer by saying “she aspired to reach the level of treatment that Elissa receives.” Dina Hayek, on the other hand, said flat out that Elissa got better treatment than everyone else. However, Elissa may have lost her place on the throne of Rotana diva envy… To Tunisian singer Latifa.

Ahmed Sharif: A Tale of Two Cities

Young Tunisian star Ahmed Al Sharif is probably earning some frequent flier miles since he's been traveling a lot from city to city as his schedule has been fully booked. He just got back from a very successful tour in Australia where he was honored by the Mayor of Sydney himself.

He also held a party in Damascus on the 22nd at the Sheraton Hotel. But Ahmed's real night out will be on the 31st as he will be flying between Abu Dhabi and Dubai performing two concerts on the same night.
He'll be first at the "Shati" hotel in Abu Dhabi for the first few hours then he'll have his private jet ready to take him to Dubai where he'll continue the party there.

Pretty cool huh?

Saber Al Rubai…Conceited!

Famous Tunisian star Saber Al Rubai seems to be of a higher class than everyone else.
He was asked on the "Ma' Hobi" show about Rula Saed’s voice, he said he wished singer Rula Saed had stuck to modeling rather than singing. Poor Rola, come on, he's just kidding...

As for the rumors surrounding him and Sabah singing a duet together, he answered astonished saying: "I can't sing with her, my voice is much stronger."

It seems Saber is too good for anyone, even the Arabic concert for Lebanon "Al Dhamir Al Arabi" isn't good enough for him

Saber Al Rubai Didn’t Buy an Apartment in Egypt

Saber Al Rubai

Saber Al Rubai is denying the news about his purchase of an apartment in Egypt last month and that this house was haunted. He said he didn't know where such news came from or why someone would make up something like this in the first place. He said that maybe the reason was an attempt by some of his enemies to divert his fans attention from his up coming album.

Ahmed Al Sharif in Australia

Ahmed Al Sharif in Australia

No one would have expected the success that Ahmed Al Sharif would receive from his tour in Australia. Fans, Arab expatriates, press coverage, magazine articles, and even a warm welcome from the Mayor himself were all waiting for him!

As soon as the young Tunisian singer arrived at Sydney international airport, the crowd went wild!

And as for his concerts, well, you can just imagine the attendance. He sang for no less than 3 hours at every time, singing pieces from Tunisian folklore, Dabka, as well as some classics by Warda and Abdel Halim all in addition to his own work from his latest album.

Bahaa Al Kafi & Wa3adni

bahaa kafi video clip

The shy and coy Star Academy Tunisian student Bahaa Al Kafi, has come out of the shell at last, and has released a single entitled Wa3adni - he promised me - . She has also shot a video clip for this song, and is now broadcasting all over the music channels.
She still looks the same and moves in the same way, which by the way i think she should loosen up a bit more, yet she sings quite well.
Have you seen the video clip, or heard the song?
What do you think?
