Walid: New Album & Tour

Many of you will remember Jordanian Star Academy 3 candidate Walid Samara who actually left the show voluntarily; well he is back with a brand new album. Walid left Kuwait where he resides and returned to Jordan to publicize his new album ‘Fatet Sanah’ which he hopes his loyal fans in Jordan and all over the world will enjoy. Walid says that his album contains ten songs in which he sings using mainly the Lebanese and Egyptian accents.

Diana Karazon in the World No Drugs Day

Jordanian Super Star Diana Karazon has participated in the World No Drugs Day with the help of the Jordanian Armed Forces in Amman, Diana Karazon sang a song entitled 'Hay IL balad ilna' a song written and composed by Magid Zreikat. Diana has also completed shooting a video clip for a new khaleeji song from her album 'Il Omor Mashi' directed by Hussein Daibes, a Jordanian director. The video clip will be released in the near future.

Jordanian singer & Super star winner Diana Karazon is going to enter the golden cage of matrimony on 7/7/2007 ... a date she finds to be full of her lucky number 7!
Diana's horoscope sign is Scorpio, thus she is crazy in love with her 'second half' & is greatly possessive about about him!
We wish them both the best of luck & may they live happily ever after.
As for her other news, it was surprising seeing her loose all those extra pounds she was carrying around, so she has revealed to the world that the only way to loose weight was to undergo Liposuction!

Gharam on the Highway to Fame

If you thought that the Lebanese so-called singer Dana was the embodiment of crap music, then you have to get to know the new singer Gharam ... She's the new competitor in that domain!
Once upon a time, Gharam wanted to become famous, so her only rescuer was Jad Sawaya ... He helped her with her debut song and even directed a video clip for her ... She became famous all right, but not in the way she intended!
Gharam regretted what happened and tried her best to take another path to fame, but soon found out that 'clean' stuff doesn't take you anywhere! So, she decided to take a U-turn & take the 'seduction' highway to fame!

Ansak: New Walid Samara Video Clip

Star Academy 3 graduate Walid Samara finished shooting his new Video Clip Ansak. The Song is written by Mohamed Rifaei, composed by Rami Gamal and arranged by Tamim.

The clip is directed by the famous director Mohamed Baker from Gravity Production and was directed by 35M Movie Camera and is expected to be aired on the beginning of May.

Omar Al Abdallat Prepares Royal Concert!

Jordanian singer Omar Al Abdallat is currently in Egypt putting the final touches on a song he's been preparing for a special concert on the occasion of the upcoming birthday of the king of Jordan, His Majesty King Abdullah II.
Abdallat has chosen a song entitled 'Amman Al Husn' The Beautiful Amman, especially for this concert.
Iraqi singer Kathem Al Saher will also be joining Al Abdallat on this occasion, & is also preparing a song for the king's birthday.

Rania Al Kurdi to represent Showtime at DIFF

The Jordanian artist gone presenter gone singer now back to presenter, the ex-Pop Idol (Super Star) presenter Rania Al Kurdi is about to present Dubai International Film Festival on DIFF on Showtime Arabia. Along with Zoe Richards and Lina Sawan, she'll be interviewing the stars once they arrive giving the audience with all the juicy gossip about the stars direct from the event.

Walid Samara First Single

On December the 1st, Walid Samara's first single will be released (2dam 3yonik). It will be played at Marina FM in Kuwait, Sout El Ghad in Lebanon, Syria, Australia and Jordan, FN FM in Jordan, Nojoum FM in Egypt and Also can be downloaded from Walid Samara website.

Words of the song are by Hanen. Song composed by Walid and music arrangements by Housam Yosry and was recorded in Studio 5 levels in Kuwait. Walid is traveling next weekend to Cairo to work on his Egyptian single which will be released as a video clip on the end of next January 2007.

Diana, A New Single & Video Clip

Future Superstar 1 winner Diana Karazon will be back soon. She has a new single with a new and fresh style; the song is called ‘tab masagi’! The new video clip will be broadcast on TV soon! Also she recorded a song for Lebanon with singer Tony Qattan, it is called ‘jann el lail’. Diana Karazon has an extreme new look, last she was seen on Rotana TV show ‘feha eh?’

Fan Radio & Extra Music have released a new album containing 12 Jordanian songs by 10 different Jordanian singers.
Some of these singers are well known, while others are singing for the first time.
These album comes as proof of the capabilities of the Jordanian singers, who only lack a bit of luck, and lots of attention and sponsorship.
Some of the well known names in the album are Mit'eb AlSaggar, Zain Awad, Amal Shibli & Tony Qattan.

Rum Tareq Al Naser Group, Pure Brilliance

Rum is a unique Jordanian musical group lead by Arab composer Tareq Al Naser.
You might recognize his name, or might have heard his great compositions in many Arab series starting from ‘Nihayat Rajul Shuja3’ in the 90’s, until ‘Muluk Al Tawaef’ this year.

Awad is one of the many new impressive Jordanian voices on the rise in Jordan, like Amal Shibli, Qamar Bidwan and Nancy Pedro.

Ruba Hatem

Ruba Hatem is a new Palestinian / Jordanian singer with some attempts in lyrics writing and music composing.
During her stay in Lebanon (1994-1995) Ruba was a member of a Lebanese musical group called (Ninar) as a singer and “oud” player. She participated in Cairo International Music Festival (2000 - 2001) and was as a result hosted on the popular show (Eshar Ma’ana) - Nile Sat twice.

Rania Kurdi, Distinguished

A very calm song with a well matching video clip, “kellimtak ketier” is Jordanian singer Rania Kurdi’s new work.
It suits her to be singing a romantic song, in a very corresponding atmosphere.
Her work has always been distinguished with a certain style, but this time it changed a bit to become more professional yet still notable.
She also has a beautiful face that is photogenic and a treat to see in contrast with the makeup filled faces on TV.
She is so simple, natural and in harmony with herself, that it is a joy watching her sing and perform.

Rania had her first baby 2 weeks ago on April 14th at a hospital in her home country Jordan, it was a boy, and they named him "Sharif Ryan". Rania is very happy in her first experience as a mother and she is going to stay in Jordan for a while untill she regains her health completely.

Rania Kurdi is a singer and the presenter of Future Super Star program for its first and second season. Superstar 3 will be presented by Miss Egypt 2004 Heba El-Sisy along with Ayman Kaisouni.

Qamar Bidwan at the Jordanian Song Festival

Under the symbol “Towards Young Jordanian Voices”, the Jordanian Song Festival will be launched on December 2, 2004 under the patronage of his Majesty King Abdullah II and her Majesty Queen Rania in Jordan. The festival will last until December 23 and will take place at the Cultural Palace at Al Hussein Sport City in Amman.

During the past three years, the Jordanian Song Festival has been a success; presenting young Jordanian voices that truly have potential of being great singers on the Arab level such as the beautiful Jordanian singer Qamar Bidwan, which did win first prize in the past festivals. She will be participating this year with two songs by the famous Egyptian singer Mohammad Abdul Wahab.

Bashar Al Sarhan , Jordanian Singer

A few years back, Bashar AlSarhan appeared on the Jordanian TV with his traditional Bedouin songs; singing in the Badia and playing the ‘Oud. At that time Bashar Al Sarhan was one of many Jordanian singers, who needed a break into the world of show business.

Bashar Al Sarhan has a beautiful voice that although is great for Bedouin style, is also very nice in modern style. He also has a face for TV; black eyes, black hair and tanned skin … a handsome Jordanian face.
