Three Days Mourning

WALEG.com extends its condolences to the families of the victims of Qana Massacre and the families of all the people who were killed in Lebanon in the past 19 days, and the least we can do to express our grief is to announce 3 days mourning on WALEG.com.

We will be updating the site as usual but all pictures will be in black and white.

And while it may feel as though there is nothing we can do to prevent natural disasters such as earthquakes and hurricanes, we CAN prevent the 30,000 deaths caused every day by the manmade disaster of extreme poverty.

Our generation has the resources and the know-how to make poverty history and 2005 is the year we can do it.

WALEG is proud to be part of the MAKE POVERTY HISTORY campaign planned for 2005 to end extreme poverty by helping to bring about trade justice, more and better aid and the full and final cancellation of third world debt.
