Three more contestants have moved on to the American Idol 8 semi finals.
Adam from Los Angeles - California, Allison from Los Angeles - California and Kris from Conway - Arkansas have impressed the judges and the audience alike and gained their places for the upcoming semi finals which are due in two weeks!

So, what did Group 2 sing on Tuesday that made the majority of votes go to those three contestants and not the others?

Ahl al Gharam is a Syrian Drama, that is currently airing on MBC, weekly. The show translates as the People of Love, or Family of Love, and it portrays stories that are in our Arabic society and culture. The first episode was of a couple going through a lot of trouble on their wedding day, and in the end they end up not getting married. And the most recent one is about a girl that works at a bank and meets the man of her dreams. But he falls in love with her sister and asks for her hand in marriage. These are probably subjects that are encountered a lot through the Arabic World, however I have some critisicms for the show.

'Help' has a unique story and because of this story it got banned by the Lebanese censorship.
I use the word 'unique' because the story has never been tackled in Arabic movies and I'm hoping it won't ever be tackled, at least in the way 'Help' has!

Lebanese singer Melissa and American/ Senegalese singer Akon are going to hold a concert tomorrow, Thursday at the famous Cairo Opera House.
The list of attendees is huge and full of socialites and political personalities.
It is expected that Tamer Hosny is going to announce the duetto between Melissa and Akon.
Melissa and Akon recorded a duetto together and have shot a music video for it, which will soon be aired on music channels.

A few months ago, the first cinema in Saudi Arabia opened its doors for movie lovers.
Well, those movie lovers had to do with the Saudi movie 'Mnahi'! But it's better than not having the chance to go to the movies!
It seems there's no stopping this from coming with full force to Saudi Arabia.
Prince Al Waleed Ben Talal has said that movies and cinema are going to become part of the everyday life of Saudis and it's just the natural thing to happen.

The Saudi movie business has started taking baby steps with 'Mnahi' and will find the support it needs to grow and produce good Saudi movies that will find acceptance and will become part of the entertainment life in Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia is going to hold its first film festival in May. Impressive, no?

Now i have a bunch of questions for you,

Lebanese singer Diana Haddad has just finished working on her latest single and it's music video.
Diana collaborated with Emarati director Nahla Al Fahd to shoot a video for her single 'Ya 3aibo' or 'Shame on him'.
The location chosen for the shoot was in Lebanon, in the beautiful areas of Jounieh and Baabdat in Beirut.
This single is going to be a track on Diana's upcoming album, which contains songs in the Egyptian and Lebanese dialect.
