A United Nations health expert warned that a flu pandemic could strike at any time killing between 5 and 150 million people around the world.
Dr David Nabarro, from the WHO, said it would be likely to be caused by a mutant of the virus that is causing bird flu in Asia and called on governments to take action.

Future Super Star 3 contestant Palestinian Ammar Hassan has finished the work on his long awaited album which is also his first.
The album contains 8 songs and is entitled ‘El Helm El Kebir’ the big dream.
The album will be launched on the occasion of the feast –Eid El Fitr-.
What is worth mentioning is that Ammar will be holding a few concerts during the holy month of Ramadan in Beirut.

Haifa Wehbe returned to the farm of the reality TV show AlWadi.
She left last week after having somewhat of a break down, as a result of feeling stressed and depressed.
She spent the last few days in the Egyptian capitol Cairo, trying to get back up on her feet and feel better to return to the show. The reasons for her sudden leaving are still unknown.

LBC Star Academy 1 student Saudi Mohammad Khalawi has finished the work on his first Album which is entitled ‘Tawalt El Gheba’ you’ve gone too long.
The album contains 11 songs, one of which is called ‘Shater’ clever, and has already been filmed as a video clip.
Director Emil Slailati, who has directed his first work with Tunisian Ahmad El Sharif, has directed the video clip of Khalawi.

In one of the biggest Al-Qaeda related trial in Europe, the Al-Jazeera journalist Tayseer Alouni was sentenced to 7 years in jail and a fine by a court specialized in terror trials in Spain, for allegedly having connections with Al-Qaeda.
Syrian Tayseer Alouni, is one of the most famous Arab journalists because of his interview with the leader of the Al-Qaeda Osama Ben Laden in 2001.

A Chinese company is honoring ex-president Bill Clinton by naming a new line of condoms after him along with a companion line of condoms that will be named after his ex-girl, Monica Lewinsky!

'The Clinton condom will be the top of our line,' Spokesman Liu Wenhua of the Guangzhou Rubber Group said. 'The Lewinsky condom is not quite as good.'

The hurricane to follow Katrina is called Rita, and it is closing in on the shores of Texas and Louisiana threatening the states and the citizens.

Rita has become a category 4 storm, and the winds have reached 220 km/hour. The first rains of Rita are supposed to fall on Friday night and the full storm's fury is expected on Saturday. Unfortunately, its way isn’t totally clear, and it changes its course every few hours!

Millions of people have packed their most important belongings and headed towards the Houston highway to flee from the south and go up to the north. The highways are stacked with bumper to bumper cars and buses.

The question that worries all the 'AlWadi' fans today is, will Haifa be back for the 11th prime tonight?
Last week it was clear that Haifa wasn't her usual self; she was tired, fed up and everybody saw this in the clip that was shown during the prime of Haifa packing her bags and complaining that she was tired and fed up and would love to get out of the farm!
And so she left last week, in hope of returning soon to her farm and friends and her loving fans.
