MONOPOLY new collector's editions

We may live in different parts of the world, speak different languages, and have different customs, but one thing we have in common is that at some point in our lives there is a good chance that we "Passed GO!" and collected $200 while playing MONOPOLY, the world's most popular board game. And, to celebrate the 70th anniversary of MONOPOLY, Hasbro Inc. will introduce new collector's editions of the classic game across the globe in 2005.

Elissa, Hobak Waja' - Enta Lamin

Elissa

Lebanese star singer Elissa has shot a new video clip to her new song Hobak Waja' - Enta Lamin from her latest album Ahla Donya.
The video clip is fantastic as usual; romantic, realistic, happy and sexy.
I say sexy without fear, because the scenarios that are used are warm, sexy yet classy and not vulgar.
One of the most affective things in Elissa's new video clip is the baby in it; it is so cute. Oh! And so is the guy!

Starting Over on MBC 1

starting-over.jpg

The new reality program on MBC 1 “Starting Over” - Min Jadeed - is a new try to make things work … literally. A bunch of women with problems of all sorts, gather in this house to try and get away and solve what it screwing up their lives, by seeing doctors and psychiatrics and talking to each other.

I am not sure how much that will really help them, but it might be worth trying. Although one woman said that “on air” she couldn’t really be frank about her problems, which lead to not much help, but when she went “off air” she could speak freely with the doctors and found a simple solution to her problem, yet it wasn’t part of the program...

Polygamy in Muslim countries

Polygamy

Should Polygamy be illegal in Muslim countries?

Polygamy has been practiced by mankind for thousands of years. King Solomon (peace be upon him) is said to have had seven hundred wives and three hundred concubines.
Among all the polygamous societies in history there were none which limited the number of wives except Islam, the regulations concerning polygamy limit the number of wives to four while making the man responsible for all of the women involved.

Taking the example of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) ; He was married to Khadijah, for twenty-five years. It was only after her death when he had reached the age of fifty that he entered the polygamy to create alliances or to show the Muslims how to treat their spouses under different conditions of life...

No Democracy in the United States

As an American, I am ashamed of my government and it's policies. We talk about human rights and freeing the Iraqis (Who NEVER asked for any "freedom") yet we do NOTHING to ease the pain of the Palestinians. I don't get why BUSH is so damn afraid to step on Sharone's toes. I voted for Kerri and was so disappointed that he lost to that idiot. But the good news is he can't run again. This will be the end of his reign of terror. It said alot about Bush's policies when his top guy, Colin Powell, jumped ship. Without uttering a word Powell made a very clear statement. I wish Powell would run for office, but if he doesn't, I vote we put Hillary Clinton in the office.
