Songül Öden Taken by Egypt!
Songül Öden has been swept off her feet into the realm of Egyptian drama! Yes! Now, you'll be seeing her on your screen in an Egyptian series this Ramadan!
Öden has officially signed a deal for a Ramadan 2013 series, entitled "Ta7t Al Ard" opposite Egyptian actor Amir Karrara.
Öden will start shooting her scenes in Cairo in April and will be shooting some other numerous scenes in some European capitols as well.
As for the language barrier ... well, it's still not clear what's going to be done with her lines and into what dialect they will be transformed! What would you say? Egyptian or Syrian?
Songül Öden is not going to be the only non-Egyptian actress on the set of the series; Algerian star Amal Bouchoucha has also been signed on for a role and so has Jordanian actor Yaser Al Masri.
"Ta7t Al Ard" is going to be packed with secrets, entanglements of power, money and influence.
