Egyptian Ambassador Slaps Police Officer! (With Video)
The Egyptian ambassador to Cyprus, Menha Mahrous Bakhoum, was caught on tape at the Larnaka airport ... she got into a raw with one of the security officers and slapped her on the face! Ouch!!!
It seems it was indeed an incident that required such a reaction, because later the Cyprus Foreign Minister officially apologized to the Egyptian ambassador for the conduct of the security officer, who didn't respect the diplomatic status of Bakhoum.
What really happened? ... after the jump ...
Bakhoum was at the airport seeing her daughter off when a female police officer asked her to remove her boots. The ambassador refused the request which started a problem, that resulted in the slapping of the officer. Bakhoum was then handled by a group of male officers who dragged her away.
Bakhoum states that during the whole incident, she was subjected to verbal and physical humiliation.
