U.S Prepares for The Largest and Deadliest Hurricane!
Preparations are underway in the East Coast and New York as the threat of Hurricane Sandy approaches. Officials in the United States are on their toes because of the massive threat posed by this massive hurricane.
According to forecasters, this hurricane could be the biggest ever to strike the U.S. You see, the storm is more than 700 miles wide and has maximum sustained winds of 75 miles per hour. No doubt it will bring about massive destruction to property and lives. Add to the fact that it is set to merge with two other systems as it approaches inland.
Mandatory evacuations in the East Coast and New York have been implemented to prevent mass casualties. Stubborn folks who refuse to leave their homes were told to think about the loved one and recovery teams who will rescue them if they are in injured or do not survive.
In New York, some businesses are now closed as well including the trading floor of the New York Stock Exchange although electronic trading still continues. Sandbags have been placed to protect some vital parts of buildings and streets. The subway system operations have been suspended as well in case flooding happen.
Schools and government offices have been shut down as well from Virginia to Massachusetts in preparation for the hurricane.
Hurricane Sandy could make a landfall on Monday night or early Tuesday morning so all residents along the East Coast, New York and other affected areas need to be alert.
For us who are not affected by Hurricane Sandy, the least we can do is pray for the safety of all the people in the U.S. Let’s pray and hope that Hurricane Sandy doesn’t claim lives and lots of properties.

Thankfully the "super storm" predictions did not come to pass. There were 39 deaths attributed to Sandy in the US but we were lucky there was not more. I'd like to thank you for your kind thoughts & prayers.
