The Voice - Episode 5

The Voice on MBC

The fifth episode of The Voice, which is the last in the "Voice Only" phase, was a heated one!
The judges were so excited about so many voices and were so eager to have some on their teams that they were obliged -and with pleasure- to increase the number of their team members from 12 to 13!

One of the voices which caught my attention, and which sounded -and looked familiar- was Lamia Jamal from Tunisia.
I knew that I had seen her somewhere ... and then it came to me! She was a student in the 8th season of another talent show; Star Academy.
Her voice is so good ... She sings both English and Arabic and Saber Al Rebaii was so eager to have her on his team ... as where the others! But she chose her countryman, Saber.

Next week, the second phase called "Confrontation" starts.
During this phase, members of the same team fight it off in a Duetto, after which the team leader or coach decides to keep on member and boot the other!

And the contestants who joined each team are:

Saber's team:
Qusai Abbas from Iraq.
Lamia Jamal from Tunisia.
Bader Sultan from Tunisia.
Mohammad Tareq from Egypt.

Kathem's team:
Sara Hajjam from Tunisia.
Zaydoun Hussein from Iraq.
Ziad Ghazal from Lebanon.

Shireen's team:
Nouriddine Derbali from Morocco.
Abdel Athim Thahabi from Egypt.

Assi's team:
Umaima Emsaadi from Morocco.
Marina Shibel from Algeria.

What did you think of the 5th episode? Exciting ... or boring?

Lamya is surprisingly good, I don't remember she was that good in Star Academy. She is improving or Star Academy didn't give her as many chances as Sarah or Nesma.
