Innocence of Muslims; Ridiculous & Petty!
What could be the aim of a trivial and petty movie like "Innocence of Muslims"? Nothing more than disorder and chaos ... that's what i think!
The small-time and vile director of the movie, Sam Bacile, was after causing chaos and was not after enlightening people about the truth of Prophet Mohammad or Islam.
Making fun of and ridiculing Prophet Mohammad is a silly way of proving an empty point!
Have you seen what has happened around the world because of this movie?
Riots and demonstrations all over the Arab world; Libya, Yemen, Egypt, Palestine and more.
This guy is going to cause nothing but disorder around the world and a diplomatic rift between America and many countries ... although America has nothing to do with the movie! It was Sam Bacile and his accomplices, 100 Jewish donors and pastor Terry Jones, who have planned for this!
The horrible attack on the American embassy and the death of the Ambassador and some of his aids is on the hands of the mob who funded, produced and directed the movie.
As for Bacile, who identified himself as a 56-year-old California real estate developer, an Israeli Jew and an American citizen, it seems he's the fraud ... because Israeli officials said they had not heard of Bacile and there was no record of him being a citizen!
It is thought that his real name is Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, is Egyptian and is a Coptic Christian. Sam Bacile is only one of his pseudonyms!
Would you believe that now that the movie has cause such a stir, the cast of the movie have stated that they were not aware the movie was about Islam and Mohammad and that the script they read did not contain insulting phrases and statements about Islam and Mohammad. They also said that they were totally mislead. Here's part of their joint statement:
"We are 100 per cent not behind this film and were grossly misled about its intent and purpose. We are shocked by the drastic rewrites of the script and lies that were told to all involved. We are deeply saddened by the tragedies that have occurred."
I think official complaints should be presented against the people concerned and that such scum like Bacile -or whatever his name is- should be ignored and not given any attention or importance, no more than what you would give a tiny insect walking by.
The movie should be thrown in the garbage of history and forgotten forever ...

Jessica, you make such an important a good point-- just like it is "okay" in the USA to tell blonde jokes, it is not okay to say anything about gays or other championed underdog groups. People on both sides are not thinking.
It's a totally offensive movie but the Prophet Mohammed is bigger than some stupid filmmaker idiot!
When will people realize that free speech doesn't sanction bullying? Then again, free speech is better than free destructive rage.

Good post. Someone should have made a movie about the filmmakers Sam Bacile's life ...and titled it Im bacile.
That would be more illuminating and justice than attacking people who are not responsible like Americans who really love the Middle east. Likewise, don't hold all Muslims and Arabs responsible for the ones rioting.

Well said Waleg! A very sane and productive point of view. You can hear in the movie some lines have been dubbed in and changed. The acting is offensively bad (and writing) I didn't bother to watch it all the way through.

Just like it is not the whole USA that made that movie, it is not the whole Islam community hating on America. I wish people would stop to think and realize the difference. Right now there is a bunch of bashing of symbols (flags, "religions") and the real problem isn't being addressed. If both "sides" worked together, the real problem ...i.e., a few ignoramus idiots and a lack of understanding and respect ... could be handled easy as pie!

The USA really needs the grace and learning and ancient history of the Arab world. The Arab world could benefit by understanding the culture of not being put in jail for speaking what you think. That requires faith that most people can spot a creepy gross person (like the person who made the gross video). They don't need to be forbidden to see it. Nonetheless, there is so much *offensive* vulgarity in the US culture. Folks, you need to know the diff between free speech and diarrhea.

Oh yes blame the film maker for the violence. The film showed muslims as violent & dumb people. What do muslims do after watching this movie? They resort to violence & show their stupidity. So if anything, the film proved its point. There is no excuse for the riots and violence at the hands of muslims because of a stupid film. Muslims say their religion is a true religion so why are you so threatened by what others think if your religion is true? This reminds me of what the muslims did because of the Dutch cartoons.They wanted the Dutch cartoonist killed & now they want this film maker killed. They already killed Theo Van Hogh. They want everyone who criticizes Islam killed, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Wafa Sultan, Salman Rushdie, South Park creators. lol u don't solve problems by killing the one whose criticizing. That will only create more anti-islam sentiments.You never showed this much outrage during 9/11. I don't feel sorry for any muslim out there. It's called freedom of speech & it's not going anywhere. In America & other democratic countries we can make films like that u are going to have to get used to it if you want to live in a democratic country. Every religion in the world is criticized, I'm sure films have been made about other religions such as Christianity. But non-muslims have never & will never react violently like muslims.

..Next time I'll make a film about the Prophet of Islam, I'm sure the Muslims will shout and threat what will makes me famous and wealthy pretty damn quick like Salman Rushdie and this bacile.
Insulting the Prophet of Islam is the only way to reach the stardom nowadays. Seriously guys, why the Muslims don't ignore these celebrity's seekers? I just don't get why all that hustle and bustle in the Muslim/Arab world for a cheap video?

I am born and raised here in the United States, and as a non muslim (catholic) i feel as though this video was messed up. I went on the youtube to see the comments and some people had some rude things to say like "So what if they made fun of muslims, get over it etc" Well in my opinion i just think its rude because if anyone posted a video against "Gays" or "Jews" or even "catholics" in the united states they would take it down immediately!
