Tamer Hosny held a concert at Detroit Opera House in Detroit last week as part of his tour in the U.S and Canada. Thousands came to see Tamer at Detroit concert and Tamer surprised his fans with a new song in Arabic and English!
Life goes on, right? Despite the very sad events in the past weeks in Egypt, Tamer didn't cancel his tour or at least this concert; and for that he was heavily criticized by the media...

Tamer was supposed to go on this tour last year! People don't seem to understand what he did. He cancelled his tour because of the events following Jan. 25 and paid a disclosed amount for canceling last minute. Is that really pretending patriotism towards his country? The tour Tamer went on recently had been postponed since last year! The dates were already set and Tamer tried with all his power to atleast give his people the sense of respect and condolence to the families of the victims of Port Said instead he is attacked for attending to his already postponed tour. I think people have more important thing to worry about other than Tamer Hosny merely doing his job. So what if he went, what would have changed if he didn't go? People themselves need to set their own priorities straight.
