Smile! Tamer & Shaggy!
Tamer Hosny's much hyped duetto with International star Shaggy is just another song!
I am sorry, but I don't see anything special in it and so what if Tamer teamed up with Shaggy? What's the big deal?
The song is entitled "Smile" and got a whopping 500000 view since it's release on Tamer's YouTube channel on Sunday.
Well, Ok, let me be a bit fair, the lyrics are nice and call for people to smile at each other, which would actually make this cruel world a tad bit better.

It seems it got some criticism regarding the girls in the background; who are wearing revealing clothes.
Some think the song is good but the element of those girls ruined the clip.

"Just another song"?! Haha I respect your opinion, but why can't we applaud someone for acheiving something as great as this? This is the first step, I think, in linking the Western world of music to the Arab world of music. This is the "next best thing". Has any artist in the Middle East ever done anything as close to this? I don't think so. Tamer is very successful and has many fans worldwide. I think backup dancers are the least of concern! Who, esspecially in the Western world, doesn't have backup dancers in their music videos? C'mon people! As long as there wasn't any inappropriate gestures, there shouldn't be ANY criticism. Honestly, this is by far the worst song i have ever seen by an arab/egyptian singer! The lyrics are bad, the videoclip is disgusting, horrible and pointless. He is befor anything an arab singer, meaning the the audiences that he should care about first and for most are the fans that made him what he is today(who i am not one of anyways). However this means that the song should relate to us not to the west as "no name" wants it. The song was pointless, and videoclip was demeaning and not something that we ever want to see on our screen. Whatever happened to clean musics that is both entertaining fun to watch. Who said that for him to be successful he has to have almost naked wanna be's jumping like idiots. What happened to women rights, the rights tht are so called oppressed in the arab world. So a women hopping around men and trying to act attractive, isnt tht just making her self low as if the only thing tht a woman is good at is entertaining the men. Really! And wat wuz up witht he red tight pants. rlly, is tht the new fashion thth he wants to bring to the arabs world. Well, if this is what yu call fashion, or successful entertainment then thank you very much i would much rather stay a "third world country" than be "westernized this way.

i agree with any one say that clip (not bad & not good) but it tend to be bad....and i hope from Tamer not say English in his songs ....because he do not sing that.....and i say to him (Arabic enough)thanks for every body will read that

I agree with you, it's too simple or similar to other tamer songs. I love his music and everything about him but this song didn't wow me.
I can't wait to see him next month in Toronto.
