By H.A.R. on Mar 29, 2011

Syria Stars

After the recent incidents in Syria, Syrian TV stars decided to make their voices heard as well and become advocates of change and peace!

Stars like Mona Wasef, Bassam Kousa, Jamal Sulaiman and Basem Yakhor among many others have released a statement in which they support all peaceful demonstrations that call for dignity, freedom and change for the better ... they also refused any sort of violence and any interference in Syria's affairs that would lead to chaos.

The statement also sent warm condolences to the families of the people who died in the tragic events throughout the past week.

Well done guys to stand by your people uprising. I'm confident about Syria as the country will never face the chaos the poor, unlucky Libyans are enduring.

I wish President Assad will be smart enough to resign and let his people democratically and freely choose whoever they want to run the country.

We are aware he has definitely nothing to compare to the looney Gaddafi.

BTW I can't spot the Star Academy dude "Bash" neither in the midst of the artists nor with the syrian youth , is he still under Lara's skirt? Ooooh maybe he is doing his own Bab Al hara against the regime? For once a Baba al Hara fighting isn't pointing fingers at the "bad" French!! Greaaaaat!

    Please guys i wanna know!!

Sadly al Jazeera, Arabiia, BBC and all the other bias mass medias are broadcasting their twisted and manipulated version of whats going on in Syria. We LIVE here and all we ve seen is SUPPORT for our President. A couple hundred paid traitors in a village called daraa do NOT represent the Syrian people. We shall NOT be the next Egypt or Tunisia. God Bless Syria and Dr.Bashar Al Asad. Souria allah 7amihaa <3

What I meant was that what happend there wont happend to Syria, as in days after days demonstrating. I have nothing against these countrt's. Happy for them they are free now, because before they were not :S Who said we can't say what we want? We love our president. Plus we all know that what happend in Dar3a was all planned out by people from out side Syria. The people there got paid to make all of these happenings and we have prove.

Instead of calling ppl from Daraa traitors and believe everything what Syria tv channel is telling you...just check out where Syria is these days..... the Assad family controls all the country’s policy and the unique 40 years ago based on intimidation and arrests of the ppl and the media blackout and distrust of individuals and criminal operations and the Baathists are the owners of all interests…

So what your saying is that all those (almost) 15.000.000 people that got on the streets 2 days ago got paid to show support? Yeah right. Come on there is prove that those images are manupuated and that people from out side Syria paid people in Dara to start all this. Plus why did Zeina Yazji admit that the images on the arabiya were manipulated if all this is soo real?

Sadly some people are manipulated into believing that the Syrian government is good. Sadly it is not, it is terrible. I am Syrian and I stand by my brothers in Dar3a and Homs and Banias who are sick and tired of corruption and persecution. Syria "free," bahahahaha, thats the joke of the century. Speak against the government and they wipe you off the face of the earth. Sayd Naya prison is very nice! lol And the so called stance these actors are taking is fake. I watch Syrian TV and all of them are going on tv and sucking up to the president, they condemn the so-called foreign interference and go along with the lies of the Syrian government and tv.
