Prince William and Kate Middleton: See the Love in their Engagement Photos

Prince William and Kate Middleton

Have you seen the newly-released engagement photos of Prince William and Miss Kate Middleton? Two of them are out already in case you don’t know! The couple had a two-hour photo session with well-known photographer Mario Testino. He was personally chosen by Prince William having worked with him on previous occasions. Testino was also Princess Diana’s favorite photographer when she was still alive.

You can really see and almost feel the love between Prince William and Miss Kate Middleton in the two engagement photos released. I especially love the casual close-up photo of them wherein they’re in a cheek to cheek pose and both of them are smiling widely. They look so happy together!

The other photo shows them in a more formal attire and setting. The location is said to be the chamber adjoining Prince Charles’ residence.

Also, aside from their obvious happiness, there’s also one very prominent feature in their photos-Kate’s sapphire engagement ring, which was originally Princess Diana’s. All of Miss Kate’s poses put the ring on center stage!

Here’s one trivia about the photo shoot. Apparently, Miss Kate Middleton did her own makeup! Yup this girl can pretty herself up without professional help! Although Testino’s artist was still on hand during the photo shoot to do the touch ups.

Having been chosen to do the engagement photo shoot was a great honor for Mario Testino. Being the one behind the camera, he really saw and felt the happiness of the couple, “I have never felt so much joy as when I see them together.”

Their April 29, 2011 wedding couldn’t come too soon!

The Royal wedding will be a great event, should help boost national morale in these troubled times.
