Queen Rania: The Woman for all Women
Anyone who puts efforts in improving women’s welfare is commendable. But only a handful is involved in this kind of undertaking. Among this handful of people is Queen Rania of Jordan, hence she was proclaimed one of Glamour Magazine’s Women of the Year.
She is one woman for all women of Jordan. All her efforts are aimed towards elevating the roles and status of women and girls in the society through education. She is aware of the sad plight that young girls and women go through in developing countries as well as in Jordan, and as much as possible she wants to alleviate that with her programs.

And she does so with her Madrasati or “My School” project. Through Madrasati, Her Majesty renovates schools, campaigns for schooling, and creates programs that lend a hand to women entrepreneurs. Thousands of people have already benefited from this project.

Recently, still in line with her advocacy for education, Queen Rania joined the U.N. Foundation’s latest Girl Up program that aims to educate kids in hard-to-reach areas.
And Queen Rania is every bit the modern Queen. She uses technology and even social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube as tools in advancing her advocacies for women and girls empowerment.
Surely, Queen Rania is a woman to look up to!

I just am thankful for Queen Rania. She is one of the only Arab Muslim women that we can truly be proud of she is smart, stylish, and very dignified. For everyone that admires someone like Haifa Wehbe it makes me sad that someone like that could represent us Arab women. We can either be whores like Haifa or have a burka over our faces....but Queen Rania is the perfect combination of modernism and traditional morals.

Wow you took the words right out of my mouth I was going to say the same thing until I saw your comment. I completely agree she is a woman who everyone can look up to, but is she given as much attention and is she as popular as Haifa Wehbe? No and I don't get why. Is it because she didn't get plastic surgery and doesn't sing and perform in skin tight clothes? If so, that is sad. To even put Haifa's name in the same sentence as Queen Rania is just plain wrong too. Haifa is not half the person that Queen Rania is.

She's nothing like the late Princess Diana who used to hug AIDS patients and hold their hands. R is a poser.

I think she's a poser too...looks kinda of advertising for herself..every charity work is covered like crazy...isn't this suppose to be charity?!!
mmmmm...kinda doubting the intentions!!

While most of the world is making cutting remarks, she is busy changing the world for the better. When will women stop being so catty about other women. Queen Rania has more power than most women in the world. She is trying to lift women and is doing so. She is the kind of women I would want my daughter to become. If you are not out in the world making changes then I don't see how you can judge Queen Rania. Maybe we are not busy enough.
