Stieg Larsson Sells 1 Million Books on Kindle

Stieg Larsson Millennium Trilogy

I'm not going to lie if you asked me which author would be the first author to sell 1 million copies on Amazon's Kindle I would have said J.K Rowling or Stephanie Myer. If you had asked me I would have been sadly mistaken. That honor went to Swedish author Stieg Larsson! I'm a bit of a book worm and I had never heard of Stieg Larsson but he is the author of the Millennium Trilogy which includes the books "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo", "The Girl Who Played with Fire" and "The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest".

What does it mean to sell 1 million books on Kindle? It means Mr Larsson will become a member of the exclusive 'Kindle Million Club'! It sounds like some sort of secret society- I KNOW. I should mention though that Stieg Larsson will not be able to enjoy the privilege of being part of this club because he in fact died in 2004!

Have you read any of Larsson's books?

Stieg Larsson is a very popular Swedish writer, his books is of course very popular in Sweden and in other countries also. The books are going to be made into Hollywood films now, so they are very popular. I've actually read the first two books, and I can tell you that they are very interesting and good. Its a sort of criminal drama with a journalist and a very odd, but a very smart female computer hacker, and they investigate and solve crimes together. I really recommend you to read these books, because they keep you intrigued under the whole time while reading the books. Its really a shame that his books became known and famous after his death... I want to thank Waleg for being a good magazine with interesting articles :)
