American Idol Guys Odd Performance!

The guys did an okay job last week but didn’t do much better than the girls. I think you can tell that this was the girls’ week! The guys’ performances were a little odd and I can’t get over the fact that at the beginning of American Idol, the judges kept seeing that this year’s talents were amazing. Well, I don’t see it and I don’t think they see it either! This week is important because we get to see who makes it in the top 12!

The first to take the stage was Lee Dewyze, he sang “FireFlies” which is a new song. Lee keeps improving every week but, let’s be honest, he doesn’t have the best vocals on the show. He has odd pitches but good looks!

Alex Lambert took the stage and sang “Trouble.” Simon gave him a very weird advice, telling him to imagine that Randy was in a bikini! What?! Oh please get that picture out of my head! I thought his performance was good but the judges thought he was too stiff.

Tim Urban did a better song than before singing “Hallelujah” and Hallelujah for him hitting the notes! Ellen went up on stage to give him a hug. I guess she enjoyed it! I bet he is going to end up in the top 12.

Andrew Garcia’s performance is becoming like a routine for me! He picked a very bad song which was “Genie in a Bottle.” He should pick better songs or have someone pick them for him because he’s not doing a very good job with it. I’m not sure he is going to get a second chance, but I like the guy so I hope he does.

Casey James is so adorable he sang “You’ll Think of Me” by Keith Urban, and I’m still thinking about his performance! The country music suits him best, he should stick to that.
Poor Aaron Kelly. His performance was a mess! The worst of the night and I felt bad for him. Aaron sang “I’m Already There” the song was very pitchy at times. When this kid sings, you can tell he has nice vocals but sometimes he messes it up really bad. I think he needs to practice his voice more.

Todrick Hall took the stage and sang “Somebody to Love” by Queen. Randy was blown away by the performance, but Simon said that Broadway suited Todrick more than actually becoming a recording artist. What do you guys think?

Big Mike was the best, the highlight of the night, the highlight of my day! Yes my friends, he was this good! I love everything about it and it was an amazing performance that will not be forgotten! He sang “This Woman’s Work” by Maxwell and blew me away! Simon said it was the best live show this season and Kara Cried all over Simon so I guess that says it all!
