Should Amr Adeeb Apologize Publicly

Amr Adeeb

Should Amr Adeeb apologize publicly on TV for what he said last week on Alqahera Alyoum show about the Algerian people regarding the football match?

- Yes

Don't you think his apology will calm things even a bit especially that his comment wasn't addressed to the Algerian football fans or team?!

    What did he do?

All he did was report what the Algerian newspapers were writing, and he cheered on his team!

If ANYONE should apologize, its AL SHROUK, the Algerian newspaper, that until THIS Morning compared Egypt's stadium, to Tel Aviv, and keeps reporting Algerian deaths in Egypt!

They started this media chaos, and the Egyptian media was simply reporting what they were saying. Our media doesn't keep on urging the fans to kill Algerians in Egypt, unlike the thousands of Egyptians who are still under siege right now in Algeria, due to their newspapers CONFIRMING deaths in Egypt. Although all the officials in both Egypt and Algeria confirmed not one person was killed.

Why do Egyptians always have to take this stuff from others, and shut up?? NO. Sorry, not everytime.

    Apologize? LOL. Funny.

i don't understand your obstination to stand up for someone who apparently had bad mouthed on others...you have to react wisely dear Masry...if what he did is wrong, then he has to apologize...he is a celeb not an average person,he has a responsability in what happens between your supporters and algerian supporters...he did a faux-pas for sure...

in the other side if the algerian media behaved and still behave the same way, they have to end this irresponsable behaviour and apologize as well...

tomorrow will be the end of this competition...you will have a winner and a looser...this tension and this fratricidal war of nerves will be over...certainly there will be aftermath on the two peoples relationship...

your way of blaming only the opponent is irrational..."by acknowledging our faults we emerge stronger" that's what i've always been taught...

I have never met an Algerian before in my life, but from what I've heard from my friends ( long before this match ) that when they went to Algeria for tournaments and competitions, the Algerians would spit on them, sweat at them and even fight with them, just because they were Egyptian and they were against them in some stupid game, so I do not know why do most Algerians hate us so much. It's just like blind hatred.

There is no reason for them to hate us!

Like Amr Adeeb said, we never attacked or occupied Algeria before or anything..lol

Amr Adeeb SHOULDN'T APOLOGIZE at all!
Amr Adeeb is a real Egyptian, he is very brave, confident, humane and honest, he talks about everything bluntly and he really contributed a lot to this country and I respect him for that. I might disagree with him in some things, but I like him.

AMR ADEEB, YOU GO AHEAD AND SAY WHATEVER YOU WANT TO SAY!

Everyone's wrong coz at the end of the day it's just football...football is just a sport...which to me is just young guys making a career out of playing with a ball. Unfortunately the media has stooped to a new level; using average members of the public to comment.

I don't think adeeb should apologise because if he started apologising...where will he stop? Remember that he insulted the Egyptian team too very recently, which caused some presenters to rally against him. He insults everything except 4 plastic girls.

I guess we're all hot headed people who have forgotten what's inportant.

MEDIA on both sides share fault...however its easier to blame egypt cz its on tv....Algeria's media is used in newspapers which isnt accessible to other arab nations.... thts y its easier to ask Amr Adeeb 4 his comments...wat abt the newspaper tht said some ppl died in Egypt...when the Algerian ambassador said NOTHING happened and there were no CORPSES!!! this caused an uproar in ALegria and they attacked egyptians, their houses, and business....throwin rocks, bottles filled wit gass and fire....but then again y blame Algeria...always Blame Egypt..Shes is the Arabs scapegoat after all!!
At least the Egyptian media did NOT show the ALgerians burnin the Egyptian flag IN the CAIRO STADIUM!!! the only other flag ever burnt in the cairo stadium is the ISREALI one...which is well deserved....
they call egypt misrael... they call egyptian egyptchiens... egypt/dogs!!!! SO plzzz any spewing of hatred is majority comin from ALgeria...
they will not get any sympthy from FIFA after attackin egyptians in egypt and burning things in Marseilles and Lyon..
GO EGYPT!!! i hope no more injures happen cz of this game from both sides..!!!!

oh Reem ma chérie, i'm surprised and glad to see you here...people are fighting and insulting each other for a matter of football match...i'm really shocked to witness this blind hatred between people as i made respect, love and fun my motto of life...at the age of 26 here i'm a wise adviser in this forum...i've found myself standing up for algerian supporters given that there are none algerians amongst us for the sole reason they are french speaking...

my presence on this site were motived by the richness of arab culture...i was really improving my knowledge on this noble culture...i was interested in every thing which is related to this culture no matter if it was of the middle east , golf countries or maghreb...and what i discover is too ugly...they are telling bad names on each other ...algerians saying that egyptians are "dogs, pharaos, miscreants, fat people" when egyptians are saying " algerians are hipocrites, violent, cruel, dirty berber, frenchs's dogs"...omg...i'm really shocked...

beside my hard studies i'm commited in many human rights's organisations where i'm , peacefully and respectfully, militating for a respect of the french motto " liberty, equality, brotherhood" in my country ...where paradoxally we can find unfairness, xenophobia and racism ...

even if sometimes i'm kidding i do realize that i'm deeply suffering...i'm a faithful militant of the palestinian issue, i can't stop thinking of palestinian people who need more than anyone the arab unity...m'i utopist or delusional?...

oh forgive me my angel for these boring worries...let's talk about what we can do the best i.e love...what about you and me?...still in love?...

i must leave now for my piano lessons...

all this because the algerians are french speaking, so they can't defend themselves, any way, this man should apologise, he was the 1st who start all this war, yes, it's a war, my God, the algerian players were stoned, i never heared about that, and more than that, the egyptians do not apologise for that, but they said that the algerian players were acting and they injured themselves, while the internatinal media" especially the french TV" were filming the accident. bravo pour les footballeurs algeriens qui jouaient dans des conditions du guerre, et thanx to god that they didn't win in egypt, because, if this happened they will loose their lives for sure.
i return to the algerian media, echourouk was just answering the lies of the egyptians.

Arabs play in wars but fight in games ^-^. People should stop making "war" and insulting eachother for a game. You guys are reacting like little children whomes lolly pop have been taking away. Both Egyptians and Algerians should stop grumbling eachother. I met Egyptians, and they were very respectfull and nice, the same goes for Algerians ;), but in my opinion the Syrians are the most good-natured, entrancing, well educated and endearing Arabs I've met.

Bonne nuit.

hi all and peace be upon u all
i just want to say somthing i am with u there have been some bad things or even insults in the egyption media but from the start this was reply for the very insulting things algerian journals said about egypt and that is documented and no body can deny it that made all egyptions really wondring why this insult
inspite of all that before the first match 14 nov most and nearlly all the egyption media private or national channels really talked very nice about algerians and they showed algerians living in egypt and that we r all arabs and that is nothing but a football match the national egyption tv aired program named "ofcourse we are brothers" and really it spoke very well & they honored algeria also they showed gamela bo hred the national algerian icon p.s egyption movie so really egypt was really in the calming path and hounerd algeria so egypt didnt insult algeria about adeeb or any others they may be hot tempered but they tried to calm also but after egypt won they gone mad and said lies and that is crime not insult
so please dont say that egyptions insulted algeria cause as egyption before what algerians made in sudan i didnt hear any insults so please be fair

Official reports from Egypt and Sudan tends to prove that there were a lot of lies about the fact that Algerians brutalized Egyptian fan.
Khartoum called the Egyptian ambassador for consultations because of the Egyptian media coverage of the event...(In diplomatic language...it means that egyptian media dramatized the situation)
There's been fights between both sides but nothing groundbreaking...above all compared to how badly the Algerians were attacked by the Egyptians in Cairo.

Alaa Moubarak 's words on Algeria is just unacceptable and his father's statement was so provocative

The thing is...a lot of Egyptians were so sure to win last wednesday that they still can't accept Algeria's fair victory...So they try to hurt the image of Algeria in the Arabic word and even worst they act as if they were the victims doing as if nothing happenned in Cairo.
    This is pathetic.

The Fifa in an official report said that nothing serious happenned in Sudan....And Algeria's victory cannot be questionned.

Thank you Salah Dine from Syria for your comments. I don't understand why the Egyptians are making such a big deal , they should accept the fact that Algeria won. Alaa Moubarek, the journalists, the actors ,the singers, all Egyptians are insulting the Algerians. Why all this ? It's a shame! By the way ,I'am algerian married to an Egyptian. what should I say to my two kids when they hear all the negatif and dirty comments on Egyptian channels about their mother's country? The Egyptians are saying that they are not sending us their moussalssalat or movies, or the singers. Well it's not a big deal, there is Syrians, Lebanese, Iraki, tunisians, morrocans, and of course our friend from El Khalidj. I myself going to boycott the Egyptian movies ,moussalssals and singers. 1 2 3 VIVA L'ALGERIE. Peace On Our Friends.
