I'm with Amal too.. I really find Darine Hadchiti boring and ugly.. sorry darine but u need to get urself a mirror asap....

i agree wid u guys, darine sings from her nose, omg i fund her soo annoying, amal has many nice songs, like zaman and keef el amar, but darine iv never listend to any song by her.

i think amal is better i mean her songs like zaman,bahibi no3 kalamak,nifsi tifhemni and with faudel and many more.. so amal win ! i think darine has good songs but she is ugly now !! with al plastic surgery seriously she was so pretty before -.-

i hate when girls do their eyebrows like how darine has hers, it's so ugly.

Sorry I don't know who's who but oddly the girl on the right reminds me of my little darling of starac6...who do you think she looks like?...Unlike this girl who seems austere, my little nightingale of starac6 is very nice...

both singers are very normal, simply womenl...they are jealous of each other...of course for unimportant reasons. ( hair, lover, height, eye color,bla bla bla...)

I have to be honest in my answer: Darine Hadchiti is so much better in many perspectives.

1. She can actually sing (live or cd)
2. She has a special shine in her eyes
3. Her songs are amazing and fun
4. Her music videos are amazing and have a special look to them

Darine Hadchiti has had 3 cds and they actually really good. I enjoy listening to her and fin something amazing about this young talented artist.

For Amal I do find her beautiful but she lacks talent and pizzaz. She thinks to much of herself and really gets jealous of other artist. I do like some of her songs but honestly i can't say i love or like 30% of her music.

Thats the honest truth. You guys know who Darine Hadchiti because I live in the USA and know who she is. She made a big mark in the USA so she must of made it in the middle east. She is well known so stop acting like you dont know her. If you dont know an artist it would be like Neya?? Who cares about her and who she is. Or other small artist that lack talent.

to me, darine was a one hit wonder in the arab world...she got lots of concerts overseas but we all know that doesn't mean anything in the arab world...
amal has been in the business longer and shes had a lot more success...maybe not as of late...but when you look at the age gap, really who does darine think she is?
either way i think its a publicity stunt on darine's part...but i like amal's reply. no comment would have been more classy imo but either way, its really not worth discussing further

Jeez, what's with these rivalrys between singers? I notice particulary that the women tend to come with the claws out more often. Why did Darine feel the need to comment on Amal anyway? Whether she truly is or not, she made herself look jealous of Amal's success. It also makes her look childish starving for attention. Whether she likes Amal as a person or not, singers should at least maintain a professional relationship with other singers.

Darine incorporates Greek and Byzantine melodies and influences, which are native to the Eastern Mediterranean. Amal's music is the same old cheap Arabic tune with sleazy lyrics and video clips.
