The latest talent show underway is Najm Al Khaleej.
The show is in search of that one special and unique voice that will bring the Khaleeji song to even higher levels!
Although past seasons have been strictly open for The Gulf citizens, which i find very logical since it is Najm Al Khaleej they're looking for, this year the competition was open for talents from all over the Arab world.
That is funny!!! either they didn't think about that or the winner will definitely be a khaliji!
whenever I heard the voice of singers from the GCC and Yemen, I find it sweet, beautiful and truly melodious...it was the case with the satarac6 winner Aziz and a singer nabil Shoel whom I discovered in this show...I like their style and voice...I hope that this program puts more emphasis on the specificity of the song and the music of this part of the Arab world...
Now the real question is ;what is the purpose of this show?to allow a balance between all the songs from all Arab countries?or make copies of existing shows in other Arab countries?..I hope not to say" plus ça change plus c'est la même chose"...
It 's true that the Lebanese and Egyptians have the leadership in Arab music...
About me, I would like to watch this show ,again Dear Waleg how could it be possible?...Would you have a nice idea?!!!...
i look at najm al khalij and i really like the program but few of them have good voice like mody(from egypt) gheis(from irak) and 1 boy too i dont know what his name is..and of the girls i think the girl from tunisien and a little bit the girl from irak..i think hers name is worod..i hope the winner is not khaliji because they have not so good voices
I have been watching it online!!! I love it! My favourite is Mohammad from Bahrain. I also love Abdullah from Saudia Arabia

the khaleeji style is very hip now and everyone likes to sing it...
just like a few years ago everyone was singing egyptian style
so now it doesnt really matter from what country you are
what matter is your feeling
