Miriam Fares in Chechnya

Lebanese singer Miriam Fares has hit international doorsteps and seems to have fans not only in the Arab World but in Chechnya as well!
Miriam traveled over to the troubled country to celebrate the Chechen-Russian friendship day and the National Chechen day.

Miriam was welcomed by the president Ramzan Kadyrov and was a guest at the presidential palace.

Miriam also participated in the opening ceremony of Grozny's first fashion house in the presence of world renowned designer Roberto Cavalli and Chechen designer Vyacheslav Zaitsev.

After the ceremony, the president held a celebration in which Miriam sang and shared the spotlights with Chechen dancers.

    no it isn't true ,there is no friendship between Russians and Chechens ...many chechen men were slaughtered by the Russians and their widows and children are into exile across Europe...
    participating in this masquerade is somehow endorsing the harm caused by the Russians...it's comparable to collaborators who sang and danced for hitler...

    Chechenia is in Russia in map only, its totally authonomus and the capital city of Chechenya is Grozny! We have nothing to do with Russians, they're Slavic, we're Caucasian people, and we dream of having indepedented land, far away from Russia! Also hoping for Tatars, get their Tataristan, away from Russia
