Another Season of Talent Shows Coming Your Way!
If you're into reality TV and talent shows, you'll be happy to know that this year's season is yet to begin!
If you're wondering when shows like Super Star, Mission Fashion and Perfect Bride will begin, you're wait isn't long!
Starting from November, you'll have a lot to watch on many Arab Satellite channels.
The very popular talent show, LBC Star Academy is going to kick start its 7th season by January or February 2010.
On the same channel, LBC, the second season of Perfect Bride will also begin by November or December 2009.
LBC, yes more on the same channel, will also kick start the 4th season of the Fashion and Style show 'Mission Fashion' under the supervision of Lebanese designer Elie Saab, by May or June 2010.
Future TV also has a piece of the pie.
Super Star, which has been absent all year and which has seen a fall in the number of followers, is supposed to make a comeback with its 6th season by January or February.
But ... that's never a good thing ... there's a slight chance of canceling the show because of low ratings!
The newest talent show on the scene is 'Al Zaeem Academy' will begin by November 2009 on the Jordanian channel Lord TV.

I won't be watching Star Academy this since I thought it sucked last year.
Superstar has far more talented singers than Star Academy. Star Academy is only for immature people who just want to get a stab at fame, almost none of them have talent, and the ones who do know how to sing are kicked out far too early.
Superstar is better, I'll be watching that this year.

Ms. Rola Saad : please stop with the nonsense of your show which you have pulled for the last 3 or 4 seasons.
Please focus more on talent and presentation and less on the fake romances we are all sick and tired of.
We do not care about the silly drama of boy likes girl, you are making 20 something year olds act like they are 13.
It is catastrophic.
Please stop ruining the show with idiocy and focus on bringing a diverse talent from all over the Arab world not just a select few countries.
There is no reason why one country has 4 contestants and other countries have 0.
Be fair!Also stop bringing the same singers time after time and try and get some new ones in there.
The old fashioned cheesy English songs are destroying the integrity of the show, it looks like a drag cabaret in belgium.
Play some modern music for christs sake!

4. Recent music and not old crapy cheesy english or french songs. Recent ones!!!!!
5. No more retarded outfits please!
6. No more 16/17 years olds. Speaks for itself.

8. No more outdated western singers like chris de burgh or whoever you keep bringing
9. No playback! its a talent show. make them show their talent.
10. Stop with the favoritism.Listen to me and your rating will sky rocket, or you can keep going with your formula which is making you lose audience day by day.

In my opinion, SuperStar has always been the better show. Star Academy lacks talent. I'm surprised that SuperStar doesn't have better ratings...

I so agree with Michelle!!! you are so right!! like yehya and bessma, or bash and stupid lara, which is ugly BTW, we all know it was fake!! I mean basma and yahia stopped talking right after the show!! I mean I don't eliminate the possibility that sometimes two people can fall in love like asmaa and adnane, or salma ghazali and her husband, but it's not like last year,, all what rola kept at the end were couples,, it was more like the perfect bride than star academy!!!
and yeah no more stupid western singers, and give more opportunities to other singers, I have nothing against lebanese singers, but last season, there were mostly lebanese singers, the same ones that appeared in previous seasons,, It's getting repetitive!! I would like maybe to see tamer hosny, amr diab, jannat,,, I mean different people from different countries..
and just like michelle said,, no more 4 lebanese contestants and one from saoudi, and one from morocco, or whatever!!! She needs to mix it up!!

Since last year LBC dont broadcast in Europe, i watched star academy on a site called watch free lbc, its gone also, if any body knows on which site can i watch lbc life please tell me....we have MTV lebanon, do u think MTV will broadcast star academy......thanks

This article is completely wrong !!!!
1) Star Academy LBC will begin this year around March 2010 because before and from december 11th Star Academy Maghreb 2 will come back at Nessma TV. An agreement took place with Endemol to not broadcast the show at the same time.
2) Freemantle has sold the rights of Superstar TV to Cactus Production and will be broadcast in 2010 in the Tunisian Channel TV7 or to a new channel created by Cactus Prod.
3) Mission Fashion is not comming back this year. There is the new season of The Perfect bride instead of Mission Fashion.
4) Najm Al Khaleej is back at Dubai TV.
