How did you find the performance of the actress who played Laila Murad?
The actress is called Safaa Sultan and she's a 29-year-old Syrian actress.
The things is, it seems not many people enjoyed the series and many thought the performance was weak!
This put Safaa in a bad state and resulted in her going into a mild depression!
Safaa only recently started feeling better after she got busy working on her debut single!

Safaa Sultan is a Syrian actress who took up acting without studying it.
She studied Dentistry in The U.S. but was discovered as an acting talent in 2003 by Syrian actor Yaser Al Athma, who gave her a role in his famous series 'Maraya'.
she is a dentist...haha..look at her,Safaa is a typical singer,actress! it's good that the depression was mild,not big,cause it's not good to be wasted such potentialities..

honestly i didn't like the series and i didn't like her preformance as well, i didn't like her way of talking and it didn't look like that of laila murrad,i think that an artist like layla murrad deserves something which is much better than this series
even tough I am Syrian my self I must say I actually dislike her she is SO fake u dont veen wanna know even in her interviews and everything

Safaa is a very beautiful actress and her acting in the Syrian mini-series has been very convincing to me. With regards to the comment by H.A.R that she didn't study acting , eh who are you kidding? more than half of the world's actors and actresses have not studied at a university level, let alone acting! You think Lindsay Lohan studied acting . Give me a break!
