Well Hanadi you are wrong about who sells the most records and i tell you why i read in (laha) magazine with Mohsin Jaber and you know who he is said the award must go to (Warda Al Jazaeria) the hit song (BATWANES BEEK) but he said because at that time there was a problem between them and they didnt talk to each other he put Omar Diab name instead . And come on isnt there other singers in the arab world ? Omar Diab takes it for the fourth time that is stupid who does he think himself ??? I would love to see Kathem Al Saher take the award that would be great but he wont because about ten days and his album will be release well we have to wait for ( THE EPIC OF GILGAMISH ) maybe he will be in the Oscar who knows ???????

So Amr diab is all alone this year.I think that if we want real competition then all the following singers should release albums in 2010. Amr Diab, Samira Said, Elissa, Nancy Ajram, Nawal, Asala Nasri, Sherine, Ragheb Allma, Tamer Housni.

And tht was real funny Haifa WAhbe considered for the Award the Joke of 2009.

Elissa lip-synchs in her live concerts?? Get me a 2004+ concert in which she doesnt sing live! She has been singing live in all her recent concerts, and the only reason she used to lip-synch is because she couldnt afford having her own band, she even admitted it. Dont tell me she lip-synched in Carthage 2009, because I have the full concert and it is all LIVE! Dont believe everything you read dear..

all the singers you people think deserve to win are boring (nagwa karam, kazem elsahere, sherine, angham, etc) and amr diab was good from ghani men albak album till aktar wahed, but after that he became repititive. mohamad mounir also was good but only made 4 good albums (alemony einiki, benetweled, shababik, west el dayra)
but after ahmed monib passed away he lost his magic. as for the singers in their mid thirties that people under 20 consider them the singers of their generation, they are all bad, not different from paris hilton or jessica simpson in the US. to be brief I don't think there should be any awards this year.

I wish to win some other singer not always Elissa, Amr or Nancy. It looks like we have just three arab singers

I don't like the old generation. I made it clear that I like mohamed mounir old albums and amr diab from 1984 till 2001 but after that singers with zero talent and charisma appeared and that's why I related them to paris hilton. I didn't think about nudity when I did the comparison, I just meant that they don't have any (tarab) in their voice like paris hilton, this also includes male singers.
