Bab El Hara 4 - Episode 29: Will Um Joseph Survive?
What was the most interesting or shocking thing that happened tonight in Haret Al Dabea?
I thought it wasn't a surprise at all that the mysterious man hiding in Um Joseph's house is Abu Ahmad! Poor guy, may he rest in peace.
As for the unexpected event; the shooting of Um Joseph by the French, that was shocking!
Will she survive that rain of bullets? I hope so, but I doubt it!

Season 4 was very weak. The final episode was the worst one. It did not flow and it was very bad acting.

hanan, ur completely right.. for them to end the season @ 30 episodes is ridiculous and the fact that there was no surprises in my opinion sucks. But dont get me wrong, I am a fan and i Will be tunibg into season 5. But in my opinion beit jeddi 2 was much more appealing and i hope bab al hara will learn and make season 5 ( last season) one to remember!!

I have been a fan since part 1 but I refuse to watch next year. This program has turned into a money grab pure and simple. They can make money but please give us a product that we enjoy or we won't watch. The last 10 episodes were plot set up that took us in circles as if the writter kept changing his mind about how to end the series and then decided to just have a lame non-ending. We are not SHEEP that you can just lead us. I like the references and analogy to todays events but really, have a point. Come up with some real plot points! Don't drag it out just to make more money. Anybody who watches this show again is asking to be played with. Go back and watch one and 2 on DVD and forget about bab al hara, its dead.

I just watched the last episode and I have to say: WHAT A HUGE disappointment. What a boring unpleasant and unpromising end. I guess the director and the producer just shot themselves in their heads among the nothing but shooting we watched over and over through the course of never ending fights through 30 episodes.
This series started very promising the first 2 parts and then went downhill in the third one and now they tried to revive and resuscitate it in the fourth part and I think they killed any last hope of making it survive.
Can’t you see guys? You stretched all the audiences through the daily fights in the first 20-25 episodes then to finish it earlier in the 25th episode when all the men went back to the hara as if nothing happened and then for you to start a new boring stories because you are running out of ideas. You brought Mamoon Baik and you did not expose him. You pretended that Abu Draa killed Abu Shihab and did not prove it nor denied it. You brought and annoying character called Al Nims and made him annoy us more for no real reason just to fill episodes and kill our time for nothing. And Abu-Bahjat that had few bullets by Essam an baby brother Motaz that lack all self control , yet Abu-Bahjat son of a gun survived so you can bring him back to us to bore us more and more. Man just let him go, his character was done and gone and it became a burned card. You just wanted to prove to the audience that you guys were so weak to finish the series or to come up with a new thing. And and and …. Never ending nonsense. You drifted FAR away from what the what was this series made for and why they really succeeded the first two parts : The series that was reminding us of the beautiful old simpler times, pressing on going back to traditional values, good manners and bravery in a society that is so polluted in our current days.
After the first season people were anxiously waiting for next Ramadan to come to see the second part which was very successful. I wish you guys stopped there. But knowing that the money was pouring on you because of the success and instead of starting a new and may be similar series you tried to continue to the third series which was somewhat disappointing and yet you did not stop there and call it. Yet you as most of the unplanned success in our Arab world wanted to keep going without planning and to try to make it a strong start in the first few episodes where the hara people were winning one after another. But then you did not know where to stop and how to end it. So you decided to buy yourself sometime till the next year and to figure out how to stop and get yourself off the ditch. So you came up with such a miserable ending trying to convince the audience to cut you lose and give you time till next Ramadan so you can continue making us mad of knowing the you are planning to make us hate watching it more and more. If I was in your shows , I will shoot extra more 2-3 episodes and with dignity close this chapter once and forever , move on to a different adventure , close the hara door forever and try to open another door (not a hara one please). Guys try to make us not to regret watching the fist 2 parts even.
I can tell you that I will wait for next Ramadan to come, BUT not to watch another failure of yours but to make sure that my time will not be wasted again by you.
Unhappy and extremely disappointed Arabic viewer.

bab el hara 4 was amazing...i can see that everyone is writing a comment about bab el hara and almost everyone is saying that u didnt like it and u guys are not gonna watch bab el hara 5.. i wanted to tell u bab el hara 4 was amazing and all peopel in all over the world watched it and every actor and actress in this episode did a veryy veryy veryy good job and im sure bab el hara 5 will be amazing too and finally let me tell u that the time u wrote all those comments and some of u just wrote a paragraph trust me u guys in this way u showed everybody how bab el hara 5 succeeddd and how it givessss a very good result...thats a success yes sure thats a success...goodluck 4 everybody in bab el hara., u all did a very good job...just waitinng 4 bab el hara 5

I hate the girl that plays Jamila! I mean come on! The old Jamila was soooooooooooo much better! And the old Kaireeya (Mutaz's wife)! Sorry, don't know how to write their named in english.. But really, all the good actors quit because the story line is soo bad! I mean Abu Shhab quit and Abu Isaam quit so they had to kill his character! They had to kill pretty much everyones character! I mean why did they have to kill Ibrahim? That was just so depressing! I swear, if the actor who plays Mutaz isn't in Season 5, I will never watch Bab El Hara ever again! Mutaz is the reason I watch the show, and if they change his character, I will boycott!

This episode was such a disappointment! The whole storyline sucks in this part... But then again there is no storyline.
I think part 4 is a failure, not because the great actors are missing but because the story is missing!!! If the producer and the writer think that we're dumb enough to be content with just a few nice faces and a few gun scenes or sword fights they are terribly mistaken!
I regret every minute I spent watching the part 4. I kept hoping that somehow the plot will get exciting but it's almost over and it's still as boring as ever.
