What a bad rumour. So they haven't picked american/ brit stars, the venue was switched from vienna 2 london just yesterday, and yet they've managed 2 secure Haifa who no one in the west knows & who would destroy any MJ song singlle-handedly. If u believe that then you'd believe anything.

sam, this is not a rumor, Haifa herself said that she was invited to perform the song, but that was before they postponed the tribute to June 2010, it was supposed to be on September 26th.. But who knows what might happen till June 2010, everything could change!

first thing frist it's not a rumor haife was invited with 25 stars but it did got postponed cuz our american stars like chris brown natalie cole mary j blage and some others cannot make it to the tribute so that's why it was postponed and jackson's mother thinks london will be the best place for the tribute. and between me and u as for my girl haife she do need this time to learn how to sing in english cuz the closest I have heard her sing in english was( I will survive ) and it was in arabic. the song ( you are not alone) reminds me of how haife lately is starting to look like micheal jackson I think they share the same doctors.

Just found out she wears lenses. I had no idea! I thought those were her lovely eyes. Wow I was fooled.

Well if it's true...I will be pressing the mute button when it's broadcast on TV during her segment & settle with peeping through my fingers. A western audience will surely cringe. Why would they give Haifa 'You are not alone' but not R. Kelly who wrote it, or his sister Janet or Beyonce who I'm not a fan of but atleast has a voice! I still find it hard to believe. And I don't believe anything that flies out of Haifas mouth. Do you remember when she was asked about plastic surgery? What was he reply? 'I don't need plastic surgery'...It's in utube. Therefore I shan't believe this rumour either until an official announces something.

Haifa singing "you're not alone"! It will be a disaster! She will kill the song. MJ will wake up from his tom if he hears Haifa singing "you're not alone".

Harajly is right, Haifa said it herself in the latest Jaras interview. You can find the magazine in their site.

But it was delayed until 2010 because as they said before, they couldn't find any one to perform.

Harajly - Haifa herself has said she is doing many different things that NEVER happen. EXAMPLE: two American movies. one with Cuba Gooding jr. and the other with Billy Zane.

Haifa cant even sing her own Arabic songs live without sounding like total CRAP, and they are going to have her sing in English to a Michael Jackson song. lol she is going to embarrass herself royally.

I doubt this is going to happen. Something will happen when the time comes, and she wont be apart of it. Haifa has constantly said things over the years that just never ever happen to get attention.

Tania, I agree, but its just that Haifa's projects seem to never work out.. Everything she says turns out to be a lie, or just doesnt work after all.. But the Michael Jackson thingy, I doubt thats a lie, I mean it was scheduled for September 26th, and Haifa announced it a week ago, so what would have happened if she was lying? I mean we would definitely know when the show is on.. Now its postponed, so yeah its possible that they will cut her off or something until June 2010 !

Hamood w bass, Najwa Karam is one of the best female artists in the middle east, and one of my favorite artists too, but I cant imagine her powerful voice singing Michael Jackson songs! lol I dont even think she can sing in English, it would be really weird.

This is wonderful news..Haifa Wehbe was a good decision!! But I dont think it will happen because, god knows what will happen between now and June of 2010. I mean Michael's brother Jermaine is the creator for the concert and he is not supported but the entire Jackson family. I'm assuming that this concert wont take place becuase Jermaine just listed american celebs who were going to be at the Vienna concert but more than half never knew about it, everything was 100% mis-represented!
