Although it was about a week ago, but people are still talking about the winner of So You Think You Can Dance.
18-year-old Jeanine Mason, who was in a state of shock following the announcement, won a $250.000 cash prize, an appearance on the cover of Dance Spirit magazine, and the title "America's Favorite Dancer".
Jeanine said backstage, after her win: "It honestly feels like nothing right now. I just feel numb from head to toe. I know when it does hit me, I'll probably run around my apartment 5,000 times screaming at the top of my lungs. Other than that, I'm just so excited to be here."
Her nearest and strongest competition, Brandon Bryant, she said: "He is amazing. Brandon is such a strong dancer. I grew so much because he took me to a level that I never thought I could go to. He made me just live there. He was not willing to come down and bring down his strengths for me. He's like, 'Jeanine, you're going to meet me there.' He's my Miami buddy, and we went up thinking, either way, it's a win for Miami."
What do you think of Jeanine's victory? Does she deserve it? Or were the other finalists: Kayla Radomski, Evan Kasprzak and Brandon Bryant, more deserving of the title and awards?
She deserved it 100%!! I love Jeanine..and i wanted her to win from when i first saw her..i also liked Evan because he was a really good dancer but Jeanine deserved it wayy more.!!!!
