Death although sad, is a common thing in our everyday lives. People are born, they grow old and then they die, but it’s the sudden impact that leaves us empty, the sudden death of people we love and care about is what causes triple the pain.
Here is a list of 5 Arabic celebrities that have lead a brilliant career and have died so suddenly that their tragedies will never be forgotten. May all of their souls rest in peace.
1. Soad Hosni: Soad Hosni was one of Egypt’s most loved actresses, she had it all, beauty, fame, money, but as Soad got older, she became overweight, ill and depressed which were the key reasons for her to commit suicide in her London apartment. Although it's still being disputed whether she killed herself or was pushed from the balcony, it remains a mystery and we may never know.
2. Thikra Mohammed (Zekra): This is a tragedy that will never be forgotten.
Tunisian singer Zekra had the voice of an angel, yet she was still the target of a vicious and troubled husband. Zekra’s Egyptian husband shot her 26 times, her secretary 22 times and business manager 18 times, and then killed himself. I still remember how much I cried when I watched her funeral; Zekra is a treasure that will never be replaced.
3. Susan Tamim: Lebanese singer Susan Tamim, was just 31 years old, she was healthy, beautiful and was sleeping in her bed when her tragedy occurred. Whilst in her apartment in Dubai, Tamim was murdered. Hisham Talaat Moustafa and Muhsen el-Sukkari were charged for her death and were both given a death sentence.
4. Soad Nasr: one of the best female comedians known in the Arab world, Soad Nasr’s death was surely a tragedy we’ll never forget. When undergoing a liposuction procedure, complications occurred and Soad was in a coma for a whole year, and then passed away. Soad thought she was simply doing an operation to look better, who knew it will end like this.
5. Ahmad Zaki: one of the most loved actors in the Arab world, known for his dramatic roles and great acting skills. Ahmad died a natural death, but being such an inspiration to many people, his expected death was also a huge tragedy. Ahmed Zaki died of lung cancer at the age of 56.

wtf what about umm kalthoum? suzan tamin yeah that was very tragic but she wasn't exactly a legend...
i understand she wasn't a legend and no one said she is ...... but she died in a very tragic and sudden way and all of this are recent deaths from 2000 + ............ if i were to write about everyone then i should include umm khaltoum , abed el halim , fareed il atrash , and the list will go on forever

i want to tell you about soad hosney ya mariam...firstly she got engaged to him for 6 or 7 years though she actually denied about her marriage later then they got divorce. soad got married again then her ill came so she decided to suicide to finish and not to suffer herself but she did a mistake. she throw herself in the balcony which the same day of her first husband birthday. her first husband was abdel halim.
about suzane tamim the one who murdered her should be punish first like cleaning the toilet with kids brush for each toilet.....or let the tigers teach him a leason in the cage and then put him in the electric chair!
i believe soad hosny was killed, cause she was planning to write a tell all book about other stars. i think one of the stars paid someone to kill soad. yes we might never know what happened to her. which is very sad. all we can say is ALLAH yirhama. all of them actually. as for suzin she was never famous just that she got killed made her famous. ahmed zaki no one and i mean no one can ever be like him or even close to him. soad nasr its sad what happened to her, bass its life. thikra death really shows that a woman has to be careful who she marries. i hate men who are jealous of their wife. anyway once again ALLAH yirhama all of them.
