Lebanese singer Fadel Shaker has retired! No, It ain't no rumor! The dude has actually hung up his microphone for good!
Shaker announced his decision and didn't give an apparent reason for his retirement except that he's had enough of show business and the music industry and that he'd like to focus on himself and on his private life for a change.

i heard he quit cause mashALLAH he became religious. he wants to go to do haji and focus on being a good muslim. i am not saying he was a bad one before, but u know in islam singing is haraam. i know i sound like a person who calls everything haraam, bass i am just writing what i heard. it is sad to hear he is finished with singing cause his voice is breath taking, bass the man is free to do what he wants. i hope him the best in life, and for ALLAH to reward him with good health for him and his family.

For the first time in my life that im so sad about sth like this , FADL SHAKER is the only singer besides ELISSA and MARWANE KHOURY that i listen too during the whole day for years and always waiting for his new albums. he is the only artist that i respect. i love his voice, but i also congartulate him for this decision so as to concentrate more about his little familly. he ll be always my favorite.
How could he retire and he has a tour coming up in october in the u.s. ?

i love you fadl you are one of the most resepectful singers and i'm gonna miss u but i respect your decision because u have proved that there should be a moment when a man should realize that he should stop things and focus on other things in return not like other singers (saba7) for example.
