That's a daring title, isn't it?!
Well, it seems Jamal Sulaiman actually came under fire as he was filming scenes for his upcoming series 'Afrah Iblees' in Egypt.
Sulaiman and other cast members including Egyptian actress Abla Kamel, were shocked and scared as a group of armed men attacked them and started shooting real live ammunition.
It turns out that there was a huge misunderstanding!
Sulaiman and the cast and crew of 'Afrah Iblees' were shooting final scene in a cemetery and were mistaken for people who wanted to invade the cemetery and take it over from the people who own it.
Most of the cast and crew ran for their lives, but some stayed and tried to take things over with the armed men, explaining to them that it's only a series and they don't intend to take over their cemetery.
The armed men apologized deeply and things went back to normal.
Sulaiman refused to continue shooting that day and he also refused to report this incident to the police.
Before Jamal Suleiman, the libanese Suzan Tamim was assassinated, and before her, the tunisian singer Dhekra, by her egyptian husband. What's wrong with egyptians??? Why are they so violent when it comes to Arabs?
just because a few egyptians conducted themselves in such a way doesn't mean something is wrong with all of them.
But I do see where your getting at, they could've at least asked what they were doing in the cemetery before opening fire, or the crew of the show should've asked permission to shoot footage their as well!
