Lebanese singer Pascal Mashaalani will take her first acting steps in a Tunisian series entitled 'Maktoob'.
Pascal was approached by director Sami El Fehri to appear in the series, in its second part.
Pascal agreed and will be appearing in 1 episode of the series, which will air in Ramadan on Tunisian channel Tunis 7.

Pascal agreed to shoot a couple of scenes for a whopping $100.000, the same paycheck that Tunisian actress Hind Sabri agreed to take, for appearing in the same series and for 6 whole episodes!

According to Local Tunisian newspapers, the first part of 'Maktoob', which aired last Ramadan, drew much criticism for dealing with sensitive issues relating to the Tunisian society like drugs, pregnancy out of wedlock and racism against dark skinned people!
