Colette Al Helani, former Miss Lebanon, famous model and wife of Lebanese singer Assi Al Helani had been offered a chance by Rotana to become a famous singer and Rotana also promised to produce multiple albums for her. However, Assi was not thrilled at all with this idea, in fact reports are that Rotana have frozen this offer until problems between Colette and Assi have been resolved.
Apparently the issue is very big and has caused serious fights between the couple. A source said that Assi is still holding on to his beliefs that Colette should take care of their three children who are in serious need of her instead.
Do you think that it’s selfish of Assi to deny his wife the dream he is living or do you think that as Arabs it’s nice to see someone still holding on to his culture and beliefs?

my dad never had my mom work a day in her life so she could stay with me and my sister and brother
besides, i think collete becoming a singer could become a disaster if she becomes like some of the other sings that are out there

Its the right thing to do, its not like they are poor or need money. She should just enjoy the luxuary she is living in now. she is already famous even without singing.
i think Assi is jealous from his wife cause he think she might be a cute and better than him. while he singing to other women and looking at women for 24 hours. I don't know why he don't be proud of her and let her do what she want.

I am a full time officer for the federal goverment, i have a daughter and im married, if my husband ever asked me to stop working, i think i would have a heart attack. My work defines me and empowers me, it gives me a place in society and independance that i need to better myself...and my husband respects that in every way. My mom never worked untill she was in her 40's, and after joining the work force, she said that she regrets not doing it earlier. If you can balance ur job and ur children, with a little bit of help and sacrifice from the "husband", it can work...

i think sho ma ya3mal assi is good cz he is the best singer ever and she is his wife and i think he doesn't want that his wife become like many singers nowadays (haifa and others) and it is his choice and assi 3ala rassi wallah and fares karam to lebanon # 1

Dear,let me tell u something about ASSI f u dont really have any background about him , when he first married his wife , she left everything for him ,not beacuse he forced her to ,she left modeling and all media jobs,she wanted to be a wife and a mother ,, i dont really care for wht people are now saying about some problems btw assi and her for a stupid reason which is the album she was promised to do ! where did u get those info from ???? did Rotana told u that??? did collete came and said assi doing so and so ??
Please dont say things u dont have any clue in .. Dont blame assi for something that's not true at all ..
and Assi is Assi ,from 15 years ago when he married ,till now ,, nothing changed and nothing will change,and trust me his realtion with collete is more than good and satisfying for both :)
