The Iraq War Gets a Piece of The Pie

iraq war tv series

At last, the Iraq war gets a small slice of the big Arabic TV Series pie!
Tunisian director Shawqi Al Majiri in collaboration with Syrian writer Khaled Khalifeh are working on the first TV series about the Iraq war, entitled 'Hudou' Nisbi' or relative calm.

Work is underway to try and finish the shooting, editing and all technical and logistic details of the series to get it ready for Ramadan 2009!
The series stars a bundle of stars from Syria, Egypt, Jordan, Tunisia, Iraq, Lebanon and Palestine.

It's about time some light was shed on the turmoil in Iraq through drama.
The series will be concentrating on the suffering of Arab journalists in a war that has taken the lives of around 288 journalists until now.

What do you think of this? Isn't it a good idea to shed some light on this issue in a TV series?
