Syrians aren't angry ahmed, its seems that you only refer to bab al hara, well its not that they are angry, but they are impersonating life back in the olden days, and during that time, every man in the 7ara had to be strong, tough etc..

its all in the acting.

try watch dai3a di3a or in other words the lost village, search it up on utube and watch it... you will need to get the hang of it but when you start understanding it, its very hilarious.

I basically summarized 90% of the khaliji drama in those 2 lines. and u said Syrian have no sense of humor in their acting , then u abviously haven't seen salata , 3a2elaty wa ana (my family and I), elfousoul el 2aeba3a (the 4 seasons) , 2let zoo2 wa ketret 3'alabi , homey hoon .

syrian musalsals are amazing and if you don't think so its probably because you don't understand them ie khaliji or masri people!

i know bab al hara has gone downhill, but its the exception to the rule...syrians know how to act! and they have the best comdey, drama, and history musalsals!

remember donia, zeer salim, layali salhiye, 3aylit 5 njoom (and the others), abna2 el qahr, ghizlan fi ghabit el theab, hajiz el samt, wa sha2 el hawa, omg there are sooo many!!! i can't even start to list! it'd be crazy

the best thing behind syrian dramas is the fact they have a moral and deal with current issues like drugs, interfaith marriages, running away from home, aids, poverty, imbalance of classes, marriage problems etc...
khaliji musalsals are all yelling and screaming and pulling hair! except for the comedies of course and egyptian musalsals are all khiyane (betrayal) and partying and drinking (with an exception to hajj mitwale and sarah)... there are always exceptions, but these pale in comparison to the success of syrian musalsalat!
syrian musalsals are played in/on all countries channels for a reason! they are munwa3a not like the others!

Its almost impossible to find out if theres a bab al hara website, I want to know who samer al masry is being replaced with, and I want to know what he is going on next. People are saying hes going to be in Bait Jiddi fine, but I want to read about it then. But theres no information.
