Lebanon is hyper with the parliamentary elections under way.
Artists and stars like all other citizens will cast in their votes, so who will they vote for?
Elissa for example revealed that she's backing the 14 March party, but who is Haifa Wehbe backing?
A source close to Haifa leaked the news that she's coming home today and will be casting her vote.
The source also revealed that she's wavering between Hizballah leader 'Sayed Hassan Nasrallah' and the opposition party.
I remember haifa once said that she's on Nasrallah's side..which means she'll vote for him (;
hayyyouffffffffffffffffffffffff ........ miss u alot baby ....... i'm waiting for u in the airoport........ and i will support your decision of vote for any one ......... i think that politics and fans are not related coz here in lebanon we are so democratic ..... good luck haifa 7ayetiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii....... c u soon
no i don't think she will lose us!
no matter what she vote or not i'll still support her too cause she's perfect..

I don't know what her husband do to her. creap!
Ahmed!! U r seriously creepy!! Drawing pictures and stuff that looks nothing like haifa, was hilarious!!! But this picture is old anyways!! The new ones are from Cannes festival, where she looked like she gained weight!! But whoever she votes for, I think that it's personal and that it's her decision at the end of the day!! But anyways love u Haifa

I think that people in that region always know for whom they are going to vote but will never give a straightforward answer...needless to say they don't have to, your selected elect is personal. At the end of the day the only thing that counts is what you put into the ballot, not what you tell others. However people who adopt a westernized lifestyle/ way of dress but still hold on to predominantly Eastern views will typically be in 2 minds sometimes. I suppose she being a Shi3a and marrying a Sunni will be an important factor for her to consider as well. Sunnis are actually not allowed to marry Shi3as so whether she has converted...who knows! Not that I believe her husband will be a beakon of knowledge Islamically, but the Egyptian govt were pi**ed off with Hassan Nasrallah & the Hizb recently & have criticized them endlessly on TV coz of the group Nasrallah sent into Egypt, and his call for Egyptians to wage Holy war. And people in high positions/ status in Egypt (Haifa's husband) often tend to have Egyptian govt ties. Therefore Haifa has even more reason to be guarded with her political opinion.

its not true that sunnis are not allowed to married shi3as i think its the other way around sunnnis are usually more understanding but shi3a i know are very strict and "masbeen" if you know what i mean and they wont marry anyone but shi3as
Hey what are you talking about..Shi3a guys usually only marry Shi3a girls and Sunni guys marry Shi3a girls all the time my fiance is Sunni but HIS family was against it...not mine. So Sunnis tend to be more mt3asbeen
I don't see Haifa's husband as wealthy and high position/status as you say, he's an average businessman in comparision to "High Position/Status People" in Egypt. (he's not a Very Important Person, not a V.I.P).
a lot of ppl admired nasrallah during the war against israel and said good things about him but the majority of lebanese are now against him so u never knew.. her opinion might have changed.. i believe the March 14 movement gives a stronger presence of freedom, opportunity, independence and civil rights which I know Haifa appreciates. and even tho im a fan.. shes a big hypocrite sometimes so she could be lying about anything she says just to please the fans

There are only 3 classes in Egypt...very poor, poor (which we call middle but realistically isn't) & rich/ very rich, usually the rich are wasta or have govt ties somehow. A young manager of a construction company who can afford to have two wives and invites well known Egyptian journalist to his wedding, 3amr Adeeb; whose wife works for the Egy govt channel, must be familiar with some authority in Egypt. Aslan he met haifa in a wedding to which they were both invited (stated in a video waleg posted). I dunno if he would've been invited 2 the same wedding as haifa & without his family if he wasn't of some significance, even if he is just as you say a small time buusinessman. But generally to grow in Egypt you need to be pro-gov.
Everyone is mi3asab...if it's not mi3asab about religion then it's about something else, like politics, money, hormones, love, environment...
Egypt social classes are not as you stated. There are the very poors, the average on wages low or high (handy workers, employees, bankers, managers etc...), rich businessmen, and the money tycoons (only few). Haifa's husband falls in the "rich businessmen" criteria, not a V.I.P. Amr Adeeb also is not a V.I.P, he's a known media anchor. People who attended Haifa's wedding were not V.I.P's, they were relatives, friends or few celebrities who we see daily in magazines at wedding and social events. Haifa husband is not supporting "two wives" as you said, he divorced his first wife in 2006 (as Hiya magazine lately stated during an interview with him). Haifa's wedding was an average cost wedding, like any other Lebanese or Egyptian wedding in a five stars hotel.
In the other hand, take Salma Hayek Pinault's , that's a V.I.P wedding, the groom is a billionaire, the wedding costs rocketed, and the guests were International V.I.P's.
No offence but in sociology you don't label businessman or v.i.p as a class or judge on wages alone (wealth can be made from other means besides wages or a salary). Status or social classes are usually graded in a pyramid from the elite who are born into status; upper-class, then upper-middle-class, middle class, low class and finally those who are lower class or under the poverty line. Middle-class means people who can afford all necessities & live comfortably. I don't think most Egyptians live comfortably. The shortage of wheat/ bread last year proves that. Furthermore you don't need to be super rich in any country to have ties with the government. The government owns all of the terrestrial television channels and the leading satellite channel so offcourse they have links with lower classes. Arab governments have the power for some reason to ban artists/ entertainers/ singers from entering their country. If they interfere with issues like that then surely they have ties with businessmen in the construction industry. I never heard anything about him being divorced, they specifically stated on MBC that he was still with his first wife. Before Haifas wedding, Haifa herself said she met Ahmed 2 years ago in a wedding & he flirted with her immediately, that doesn't sound like a divorced man to me, anyway you do the maths.
loooooooooove u haifa ..
Non taken because I see I mistyped in the first line social classes instead of social status.
About the two wives, you may want to read Hiya magazine (MBC), issue June 6 2009, interviewing the groom.
Quoting you "elite who are born into status":
To make the long short, you are still confused between social classes and social status. I have a question for you Sam:
A "Prince" titled person but with no money and government connections, is he "Elite" or not?
hey Sam you didn't give me an answer about of Haifa's drawing last june 4.
I like when you criticise of me!
or you gonna say ana tous fey?
I remember those words you say..
