This is absolutely amazing!
I think it's better the way it looked back then. Not the highrise buildings are dwarfing the Kaaba. It should be the most awesome structure there.
no mattter how many tall modern biulding there are the in mekka...there is still that amazing and wonderful charm to the kaabaa. infact even if they biuld another thousad biulding .. that charm will still be present
Mecca's architecture was completely destroyed during the past 20 years because of the ignorance of some people that know nothing about History .... tall building should have been built far from Al Ka'aba and not around it destroying all the old building that are not just building buy symbols and art of the whole city of Mecca.... besides Al Ka'aba looks smaller and smaller each year with the continuous ugly very tall building built around :(!
i would have much rather prefered the old buildings..
but no matter what is built around it it will still be the most extraordinary, and amazing.
