Queen Rania of Jordan is on the cover of the this weeks issue of the weekly magazine 'Zahrat Al Khaleej'.
She gave a very relaxed and candid interview in which she spoke about being a queen, her projects, her sense of style, being a mom and how she deals with everyday life at home!
Here's a glimpse of some of the things she addressed and talked bout:
One of the very important initiatives she started is 'Madrasati' or My School, a project that aims to renovate public schools in Jordan that are in urgent need of repair.
'Madrasati' relies on the help of private schools and companies to renovate the public schools.
The 'Ahel Al Himmeh' initiative, which was launched in March 09, is a community champion award that recognizes the outstanding work and voluntary efforts of Jordanian heroes who created positive and lasting changes in their communities.
Her YouTube channel, through which she addresses youth around the globe and opens the communication line between different countries, religions and races.
She aims at changing the way the West views the East and turn around that mistaken stereotype of Arabs and Muslims.
Her everyday life is very much like ours! She wakes up early to sit with her children before they go to school. Then heads to work and tries to slip away from any evening appointments because that's the time she dedicates for her husband, The King, and her children.
At night, she makes sure to read her youngest son, Hashim, a bed time story before he falls asleep.
As for her sense of style and being a trendsetter, Queen Rania reveals that she likes to wear simple and practical clothes. she says they reflect her personality.
She doesn't follow all trends but chooses what she feels is more like her, clear, flowing and just up to date.
She likes to wears Armani, Dior and Elie Saab designs for formal occasion! Chic!
this woman is beautiful.
I have so much respect for this young queen.
She is a true lady of our time, and easily one of the greatest prides of Palestine and the Middle East.
I hope she succeeds with every project she works on because she is the type of change we need in the Arab world.
God bless her!
I on the other hand can not stand queen Rania nor what she stands for. I have my reasons but can't be bothered to delve into them. She is chic & stylish though.
Princess Diana will always be a much better example in every way, shape & form.
She is indeed very beautiful and has done so much for Jordan, God bless Queen Rania.
