Never I think it's so shallow and everyone ends up looking the same plastic and fake. We should be concentrating on improving ourselves as people through education and the way we treat each other that's what beauty is. External beauty disappears but the beauty of our spirit doesn't. We seem to have lost that along the way and that's sad.

Correction:

There is a very very VERY big difference between cosmetic surgery and plastic surgery in that cosmetic surgery is viewed as temporary procedures such as botox, chemical peels, laser treatment and such...and some of those procedures if over used can lead to destructive results. Even the Hollywood smile is comprised of cosmetic procedures i.e. veneers, bleaching etc.

What you mentioned above...
'...nose job, face lift, liposuction, ... etc.' They are all plastic syurgery & therefore life changing. You don't go under a knife for cosmetic surgery.

If you ask me, I would think anybody would say yes to a bit of cosmetic surgery, but mostly no to plastic surgery.

no i think no becuz god gave u ur normal features to exprees ur natural beuty surgery just lead to damage and say imagine the surgery didnt pass and they did a mistake then wat are u goona do ur goona deal with it for the rest of ur life but in the other hand only if there was medical problems then y not for sure other then that ur beutiful in natural side so thats my opinion !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes just vecause i would do it for my health. Im not over weight but if i let myself go i can be. My dads side is all over weight and have cholestoral and high blood pressure ect. I would get lipo just so i can stay healthy i think if its for ur health then its not haram

I agree with Sam I would NEVER get plastic surgery but cosmetic surgery is not a big deal as u get older botox is not a big deal for a 40 year old woman who wants to look refreshed.

Personally I would pass on any plastic surgery<3 Im happy with the way I look and i have God to thank for that elhamdillah! But for cosmetic surgery when Im older like shi 40 years old I wouldnt mind getting botox, as for cosmetic dentistry such as veneers this is not a big deal at all, some people need to get veneer do to enamel loss of the teeth.

Hoda Botox doesn't make you refreshed it just gives you no expression. It's also a poison you are having injected into your face!

I never said I would do it, or advised anyone to do it.

All I did was define what plastic surgery is and what cosmetic surgery is so they are not all bundled together & confused with each other. The third type I didn't mention is reconstructive surgery which can be for a woman who has breast cancer, forced to remove a breast or both so decides to have breast implants or a fat transfer.

I would not put botox in my face but botox has some benefits for people who have bad body odour or can't control their bladder. Lately they have been saying that silver fillings (which most of us have) contain mercury. Mercury is supposedly the most poisonous natural substance (I have 4 or 5 silver fillings in my molars). Same issue really except I dunno to what extent botox is a poison.

I do think plastic surgery for sexual/ money-making purposes is haram but I support a human beings right to necessary comforts & being in optimal health.

Without any doubt I would get my teeth fixed if & when they need to be fixed, I would do laser to get rid of any unwanted hair and I would do microdermabrasion or try every skin peel under the sun to get rid of scars/ fine lines.

It's easy for most of us to talk and say 'oh no I would do nothing' when we're under 30. But just wait until we hit 40 or 50. Especially for us ladies who suffer from so many factors including the monthly bill, pregnancies, skin that is 30% thinner than mens, stretchmarks, motherhood and not to mention a husband with wandering eyes who might compare us with every other female (ba3d il shar 2 all of us). But life is hard.

But a girl will be a mother one day so without any doubt bardo changing God given natural features is haram. The kid will wander why mummy has a small nose and full cheeks and lips and drawn on eyebrows. Whilst the kid looks like mummy of old.

But for me only a nosejob, because I had an accident when I was a kid and now I have a bump on my nose. And that really irritate me and I want to change it. Just beacuse I want to do a nose job, it's dosn't mean that I want to change my nose appearance, make my nose smal, or make it not resemble to my " old nose"
