Last night American Idol 8 bid a double farewell to two of it's weakest contestants.
Anoop Desai & Lil Rounds got the lowest number of votes and got the boot!
They leave behind the Top 5.

The first to be given the boot, but gently, was Lil Rounds. Then Anoop followed.
The bottom three were kind of a surprise, not because Lil & Anoop were there, but because one of the strongest contestants, Allison Iraheta, was down there with them!
How could Allison get low audience votes? Her Disco performance was one of the best on Tuesday night and the judges praised her!

The fresh breeze was when David Archuleta came up on stage and performed 'Touch My Hand'.
He also spoke to the eliminated contestants and said: "It’s amazing to see where you can go after this'.
