Very few of the Star Academy female contestants ever make it as big as Zizi Adel, Amani and Shatha did... others seem to vanish as soon as they graduate from the Academy! Maya Nehme is one of the latter. We saw her in the tour, and allot of people fell in love with the girl on the show and awaited her debut single- but it just didn’t come! Until now that is! Maya has decided that the song ‘Waraka Bayda’ or 'White Paper' is worthy of being her first attempt at entering the world of music. The amazing thing about this song is that Maya wrote the lyrics and composed the music!

And get this: she paid for the production of the accompanying music video as well!! Now it begs to question, did she do all this herself because she is just that talented? Or was it because no production company was willing to sign her? Well regardless, if this single is a hit then it will be extremely easy for her to get signed!
Personally though from the pictures I have seen of the video, it seems like it’s just going to be another pretty girl with an OK voice just like most of the others who are currently on the scene. Will she be anything unique?!

It's not fair to say that maya is like Dana she 's talented .Of course her voice is bad but she's a great dancer , a piano player and showed a lot of creativity when she was at starac.She did the lyrics and the music of her song .And her clip wasn't vulgar like Dana's clips.
