Well we all saw the sham that occurred last time when Tamer Hosny performed in Kuwait! A girl hopped on stage to express her love for him and as a result the concert was shut down and some even said that Tamer was not allowed on Kuwaiti soil! But he returned in for the ‘Layali Febrayer’ festival and as if anticipating drama the media followed him closely wherever he went. For him to dispel the rumours about his last concert, Tamer had to return to Kuwait, and he did so with grace.
He later told the media that he puts rumours like these below him so that he can reach greater heights. As an artist Tamer needs festivals like ‘Layali Febrayer’ as not only does it add to his popularity but also to his creditability as an artist. Something else that did wonders for Tamer’s stance as an artist was his composing a song for the legendary singer ‘Warda’. Tamer told the media that is had been his dream to work with her and that this was something ‘serious’ that he was glad he could be part of.
Well good luck to Tamer, and I hope his concerts continue to be trouble free!
