Our dear Ruby is trying along with her colleague May Sleem to prevent a video clip featuring both 'singers' as models from airing; The clip was filmed back in the nineties - but not shown - for a song called 'Hear Me' or 'isma3ouni' by Alaa Salah El-Din. Alaa is a singer who released a few albums in the nineties then disappeared, only to reappear lately with a new album much to the chagrin of May and Ruby.

Alaa was said to be flabbergasted by the two ladies' objection, and quoted as saying that "both ladies were trying to outshine each other during the filming of the clip, and now that they are famous, they want it banned!!"

Well Alaa should be happy, this should guarantee him a much needed publicity to bolster his return into a much competitive field. I guess he would be much happier if the clip aired, a winner both ways I say!

Someone should tell Ruby that she has nothing to worry about, as I doubt this will tarnish her 'serious' reputation. She is not the only 'singer' to have had her start as a model in someone else's clip, actually the list is endless...
