She got a new nose, and with it –apparently- came a new sassy attitude! Asala recently appeared on a show where she seemed like she was just on the attack, dicing Amr Diab and Nancy Ajram! Asala plainly accused Nancy of buying her ‘Music Award’ because she claims that if the likes of Kathem El Saher didn’t get it then there must be foul play! Funny thing is we, all know that Asala had her eyes on that ‘Music Award’ so could professional jealousy have anything to do with this accusation?!
Asala was also asked about the MBC show ‘ElHelm’ (The Dream) which details the life of Amr Diab and whether she has seen it! She replied by saying that she has never and will never watch a guy go on about his battles and how successful he has become!
Personally I agree with her about ‘ElHelm’! We respect artists if they are humble, not if they make sure we know how much they struggled to get to where they are. At the same time, whilst I am all for free speech, maybe Asala should watch what she says. She wouldn’t want us thinking she is jealous! Or a diva!

I think Asala has ALL the right to say what she says. She seriously does not get the credit that she deserves AT ALL. Compared to her, Nancy is a terrible singer. However, the WMA is a popularity contest in a sense. People love Britney Spears, but in reality, she isn't a really good singer, neither are the Jonas Bros and Miley Cyrus-she is a horrible singer. Asala is just seeing that people who don't have the true talent such as herself and Kathem are not being honored as much as they should be. Plus she is respected and no one really challenges her :D

2) It was produced by an Egyptian company, and Amr Diab was asked to talk in SOME of the episodes as a guest, like most of the other people who participated in the show.

lmao, Assala is jealous of the success Nancy Ajram and other have had. Her last album was an epic fail, from the covers to the songs in her cd. I feel bad for her.
First off, BRITNEY SPEARS can actually sing beautifully and is very amazing live....people don't give Britney the credit she deserved, i Like Asala but that attitude is like Elissa and she needs to eat some humble pie, nancy is amazing...and second off nawal al zoghbi deserves that award way before asala

Well of course it's jealousy, everyone gets jealous and like I said she has the right to. If I were a really good singer and other people are more famous than me for anything but their singing ability, then I would be saying the same stuff as she is. I am sure a lot of singers including Elissa and Nancy respect her and wish the had a voice like here. They are only more famous for their looks, music (not including voice) and all the things they do in the public
Elissa has a very good voice Nancy not so much but has a great personality and suits the songs she sings. Jealousy is never a good thing is just makes you bitter.

I always respect her for her honesty, but she walks the fine line between disrespectful and honest. Although the whole Amer Diab issue I agree with, saying that the music awards winners don't deserve their awards is pathetic. Although I do believe her voice is hypnotizing and phenomenal, I personally lost interest in her after watching a couple of interviews with her. Too narcissistic for my taste. Well, best of luck to her, her fans, and the people she criticizes.
