After the news of Dolly Shahine converting to Islam in order to escape her marriage to a Christian husband who refused to grant her a divorce, another rumour of a Lebanese singer converting to Islam is spread.
Dominique Horani was said to be flying to Iran soon where she is to convert to her husband's religion; Dominque married her current husband of Iranian origins a year ago in a civil ceremony, afterwards the couple were blessed with a lovely daughter.
However Dominique refused to deny or confirm the news, saying her husband never asked her to convert, and that the couple respect both religions. According to Dominque, all people should be like them as Christianity and Islam both call for peace and tolerance, and in this she is right!
She was also quoted to have said that she reads both holy books, the Quran and the Bible on a regular basis.
In a way Dominique is denying the news for the moment!

She could be going to Iran for a bit of the old plastic surgery; it's dirt cheap there apparently. Al Jazeera did a documentary about nose jobs in Iran & gave the impression that some if not most Iranian girls get nose jobs. Why would u go to Iran to convert when u can convert to any sect in your own country aslan?

There is no way that this article was meant as an anti-christian post given that I am a CHRISTIAN, I was reporting the news about Dominique as I came across them.
Do I believe that Dominique married her current partner for materialistic gain? Hell yes!!.... The same goes for all these ladies that Shakila mentioned. I was by no means encouraging such actions as Dominique or the likes do not represent any kind of religion, they have no religion except for wealth and fame.
I have to respond quickly as I am busy, but hopefully when I have time, I will convey my point of view in more detail.

now that you have responded I understand, but please be careful this is a very sensitive issue that could be easily misinterpreted in a different way then it was intended; I say this because believe it or not articles such as this can be used by people and organizations that have political and religious motives.

This article can not be misinterpreted in any way, shape or form. It is what it is: a short description about the recent events in a celebs life. The article can only be twisted by extremist Muslims or extremist Christians.
What is written expresses that the couple in question admire & respect both faiths, & seeing as they are a young married couple- they need to learn about both ways of life otherwise their marriage would truely be superficial.
Granted; divorce is easier in Islam than in most religions, but it is just as insulting to any Muslim that someone like Dolly can abuse Islamic law. It paints her as an ugly woman whom is neither Muslim nor Christian. Dominique seems to be portraying a sense of responsibility regardless of my being suspect to her supposed need to travel to Iran.
Religion is not what stood out for me in this article. i'm more interested in Arab-Asian & Arab-Persian relationships. Arabs don't really tend to associate themselves with their Asian neighbours, particularly Arab men. I've heard about the odd Arab woman marrying an Asian man, but never have I heard of an Arab man marrying an Indian, Pakistani or Iranian woman. There is one Egyptian actor whose mother is Chinese. I don't know his name but his features clearly show Far-Eastern genes.
I believe that Arab men at large (perhaps some Arab women too) have feelings of inner-superiority to Asians & Africans, even if they don't know it or aren't particularly willing to admit it. Other than Arab women, an Arab mans instinct is to be with Whites/ Latins.
