She was a finalist and stood alongside Ibrahim Al Hakami, who took home the title that year.
Well, Shahd has grown up quite a bit since 2006 and she's now ready to release her debut album!
Shahd has finished the final touches on her debut album, which is set for release soon.
She's worked with many big names in the world of music for this album like Nizar Francis, Samir Sfeir and Karim Al Iraqi among others.
I wish Shahd all the best of luck in this vicious world of music because it's easy for a talented singer to get carried away or taken by the drift and eventually lose her identity and uniqueness.
If Shahd is strong enough not to change then she's really going to be the next big thing!

She didn't get a nose job. If you notice in the new pic her nose still hangs a lil' low but she just has her chin tilted up. Love her new video, btw.
