Did you see the recent TV ads that MBC is running across its network about getting ringtones of what can be called patriotic Arabic songs... to wake the Arab conscience?
I'm sure many of you saw these ads...
Is MBC Scavenging?
Don't you think it's cheap to make money this way, especially by a respected TV network such as MBC?! I mean come on, we are already disgusted by many Egyptian and Lebanese singers who suddenly decided to sing a song for Palestine simply because of the tragedy and all the media coverage .. pays well.. (even Marwa recorded a song for Gaza recently)! But MBC!
It can simply be put this way: playing on the viewers feelings to make an extra few thousand dimes!

I dont think they are playing on people for money , you dont know what they are going to do with that money , im sure its not for personal profit , it would be for charity to gazans , atleast its better than the bbc who decided to cancel charity because it considers itself neutral :S !!!
well I think they should do whatever it take to help these people in gaza, cuz the economy sucks all over the world right now at list they are trying to help good job guys.
I agree with waleg, i was watching this ad with my family and we almost said what waleg mentioned here and wondered if the reveune is for charity, its not, if the revenue is for charity, it should be announced...
this is not for gaza, this is a way to make money and again i agree with waleg, its disgusting :((
